What impressed you about him? and what was your opinion of him before hand?

His hold up play was amazing. Got infront of Rio most times, and controlled it superbly. Movement was pretty good, and in short, I was shitting myself when he got the ball.

Before, I thought he was a showpony who had the abilty of scoring a screamer every few games.

That's what i thought, he takes the blame though and takes the criticism because he is the big name and people read into the stereotype and ignore what he did in the game. He was up front on his own and still managed to do an awful lot of good.

I guess we watched a different game to the majority.

funny how you can never bring yourself to say the same about Ronaldo, meanwhile walking with tented shorts creaming yourself over Barca and the like.

watch different games indeed.

and frankly, it is a mark of desperation to solicit the opinion of a well-known spastic like Scholesy.

not-so-strange bedfellows in this case, i suppose.

feckin hell, criticize Ronaldo and you will pay the price i see

don't think he'll be staying for too long without the CL trophy in sight

Inter Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he is getting restless after five years with the Serie A giants and considering a move, with Spain his favoured destination.

"I won everything in Italy, I learnt a lot from Italy. But there is a moment in your life, like when I was at Ajax, when you say to yourself you want to try something new," explained Ibrahimovic in an interview to be broadcast Monday on Eurosport.

Both Berba and Tevez have shown that in their careers they have shown up against top quality defenders and still done well, this is something Ibra has never done...

Buy Tevez, keep Berba.

Still, I repeat myself from when Ibrahimovic left Ajax: This is the closest we'll get to a new Cantona.

By the way, i thought Zlatan was very, very good against Man Utd.

He was booed by the Inter fans this weekend apparently for not playing well but maybe this latest transfer talk has something to do with it as well.

He then scored and gestured to them to shut up

Was he right? Well maybe he shouldn't have made the gesture but I can understand his frustration. Inter winning scudetto after scudetto in the last few seasons has largely been down to him. Without him ,Inter would be in a much worse situation. The fans don't have to like him, but they can at least show a bit of gratitude by not booing him.

Mourinho's job of persuading him to stay has suddenly got a lot harder. Mourinho said he persuaded Deco to stay at Porto but Deco never got booed by his own fans

Let them boo him, he should leave that crap shack anyway-- hate Inter.

Bring the price down for a swoop by us to upgrade our chugging along Berbatov :D

Wonder where he'd end up if he left. Juve could use him as DP is getting a bit too old but I think the more dire situation is replacing Nedved. A team like Chelsea would get a massive upgrade with him. None of the Spanish giants seem to care about him.

He also had an assist in the 2:0 win

He deserved the booing since he was playing very badly, two minutes later he scored the 1-0 and started to perform much better overall. The fans are split about his gesture, some (me for example) don't consider it too important, other the sign of a 'breakaway' from the club and the fans.

Ibra is our best player and he's irreplaceable but you can't force a player to stay if he doesn't want to. For sure Moratti will try to strenghten the team in the next summer campaign by building a more quality squad that could do better in Europe. The lack of international recognition is what really bothers Ibra I guess.

Replacing Nedved is just one of the numerous changes that the Juve shithouses have to do

True but the price tag will put any buyers off. I don't see him leaving this summer.

Who do you think he'd go to?

And how much do you think he's worth?

In a recent interview to the British Eurosport he said that he likes La Liga, especially Barça due to their very technical, attacking-minded playing style but he would welcome an experience in the Premier League. According to the Italian press, Real Madrid would be interested in signing him but hard to say whether these rumours are true, also 'cause the media here like to unsettle Inter with a lot of rubbish articles and non-sense talking.

I'm no market expert but I guess Inter wouldn't sell him for less than 45 -50million euros and honestly, considering how important the player is for the club and what he has showed since he came to Italy, it's a right price.

Actually neither do I, we have to wait for the end of the season to find out what his future will be though. If he really wants to leave and he tells his agent to start talks with other clubs then a transfer to Spain/England is possible. English fans don't rate him at all but the market isn't done by them. I guess that talent-scouts and observers are aware he's a very talented player and not overrated so they would be interested in bringing him to their club.

I could see him fitting in at Barca, but not as well as Eto'o does so it'd seem like a pointless move.

Can definitely see why Madrid would go for him, they have the money, they love buying superstars and they could do with a player like him, someone with a bit of genuine creative ability.

I could see Madrid paying €40m for him.

He is quite clearly eager to move to Fiorentina and create a magical front three with Mutu and Gilardino.

In the Barça's 4-3-3 I would see him play wide in Henry's position on the left for example.

Zlatan isn't a natural centre-forward although he has been playing as such this season but he's a brilliant support striker that likes to play out wide and move along all the attack, getting involved in the build-up play, setting up his teammates for scoring or trying to score himself. I'm sure that Ibra-Messi-Eto'o would be an extraordinary trio but for the same reasons you pointed out, I think it is more likely that Madrid would get him rather than Barça.

Mutu is Fiorentina's Zlatan, he does the same job for them.

I was just being flippant, though I am sure they would make it work in fantasy land!

They are looking good for fourth now after the recent Roma result.

Hopefully, the likes of Mutu don't go anywhere in the summer either. Wolfsburg is the latest rumour.
