The children of Ibra on the pitch during the game !!

And he broke the most league goals in a single season by a PSG player, record. 38 league goals.
We could do with a few positive records. All the negative records being broken by Moyes/LVG make for depressing reading.

By all accounts, Ibra appears to be at the peak of his powers...despite his age.

He scored 54 goals up to now:

- French league: 38 goals in 38 games + 13 assists
- Sweden: 6 goals in 7 games
- Champions League: 5 goals in 10 games + 3 assists
- France Cup: 5 goals

Next week, PSG-Marseille (Cup Final) ! Below, you can see he scored 48 goals in 50 games for PSG.

Top scorers (excluding goals with the national squads) between 2011 and 2016 (last 5 seasons).

Regarding Ibra:

2011/12: Milan AC (35 goals)
2012/16: PSG

Would be the perfect end to the season. Losing the final on a set piece, Ibrahimovic signing for LA Galaxy, and Woodward anouncing that LvG will stay for another season while Mourinho takes over Everton or Valencia.

Would be mixed news - I'd be quite content with two of those four outcomes.

Yeah. Not over the moon, but not despondent either. Both would be gambles that might pay off, it's a finely balanced thing.

I am beginning to look forward to see Zlatan playing for us. I would be sad to see him go elsewhere.

Thank you for your answers.

Everyone agrees with you regarding the level of the French league.

MUFC needs at least one 1 offensive player: who could make the job according to you? And what is his market value by the same way?

To be honest mate with the worrying form of, well all of our attackers bar Martial we may need more than one.

But we need a right winger first, that should be our priority. The names bandied about are Mahrez, Felipe Anderson and Sadio Mane. All are good players Mahrez especially.

I expect for the two players from the PL we would have to pay £30-40m for either. Anderson i have no idea to be honest.

I have my reservations over this transfer due to Rooney still lumbering around in this team, Ibra needs pace and movement around him IMO. However I don't get the need to play Martial as a #9, most top teams have double figures scoring wide forwards, he is ours.

Of course mate, if you told me Martial tore the league up next season from the left and we had a striker who scored 20+ i would be delighted.

I was just speculating as to how our team might line up next year. Mourinho or whoever might think he can get Januzaj or Depay into form or sign a top LW, in which case Martial cold move centrally.

Either scenario i would be happy with mate.

Imagine the fecking headaches for opp defences with Martial cutting in from the left, Ibra monopolizing two defenders in the box, and Griezmann wreaking havoc on the right.

Ibrahimovic to get a stand named after him

PSG is a young club, he's their best player ever so why not? All hail king Ibra!

How long was he at PSG ?? 3 years ?? A statue would have made sense, but this is pretty crazy.

Psg are in an enviable position and it's unfair on their competitors. He's proven to be a great player for them and I don't know about naming the stand after him. I would rather see players named after seats in the stadium :) I think that would be quite funny. I won't forget them for nicking Lucas off us - just because of a sugar daddy but we move on.

And in years to come, the club will name the blown up bathroom after Ed.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: “I hope that the team will win, even if it will be difficult without me.”
Speaking during the PSG title celebrations, Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave his farewell speech.

“I am very emotional today. It is a very special day, after four years together. Winning lots of trophies. Thank you to Ibracadabra. These four years, will remain in my heart. I hope that the club will continue like this in the next seven, eight years and I hope that the club will keeping winning, without Ibra, it is difficult, but it is possible. And thank you to everyone. In Paris, France, me and my family are very happy. Ici c’est?”
