"If Zlatan comes, it would be really good," Martial told reporters. "He is a great striker and he will bring us his experience."

Second time that Martial has spoken positively about this

Sign him up already

Id argue that the main thing that escalates and facilitates a players decline are injuries rather than age. And zlatans been fit as a fiddle for the majority of his career.

Even if it was a parody website, that's actually a good fit for Ibra. I doubt Atletico can afford his wages though.

Would think Ibra wants to play in the Premier League, even just for a year and see how he does. I personally think he'd be incredible for us. The man is also a physical phenomenon, probably has 2-3 years left.

I like what they are saying about our views with Rashord.

Tbh even if they don't know it's worth the risk. It's 99% gonna happen

Sky Sports claim Zlatan set to join United on 1 year deal

ZLATAN TO JOIN MAN UTD

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to sign for Manchester United on a one-year contract, according to Sky sources.

He will be Jose Mourinho's first signing since joining the club as manager - Sky Sports News HQ reporter Andy Burton says the deal is close to competition and could even be finalised before Euro 2016.

Burton also reports that United were made aware of the possibility of signing Leicester forward Jamie Vardy, but decided not to make an offer because they do not want to block the path of Marcus Rashford by bringing in two new forwards.

By steering clear of Vardy, United believe they can sign Ibrahimovic and still offer Rashford a realistic chance at regular first-team football.

Now, now. Let's see who else reports about it before jumping the gun.

This is brilliant news. Hopefully we also keep Wilson or Fletcher around as 3rd striker.

Let's hope it's true a front three of Martial Zlatan & Rashford looks full of movement pace and goals.

It also has Eric esque swagger and arrogance something we have been missing for too long.

He is a great addition, particularly on a one year deal. Likely huge wages though, but United has the money

A journalist at the Irish Independent did tweet earlier that there was going to be a bigger transfer story later than the Vardy story. I presumed it was going to be some shite that some other idiot journalist had joined the paper but it suggests that this isn't just Sky being crap as they often are.

I hope we also put in a few extra quid in agent compensation for Raiola while keeping Pogba in mind.
