When doing a push up Zlatan doesn't push himself up, he pushed the earth down

Once Zlatan was bitten by a poisonous snake, the snake died two days later.

Mentioning Manchester is a pretty clear indication.

Edit: in before the Salford City jokes.

Remember the poor scourers doing these chuck Morris jokes for bloody Skrtel?

Title is misleading - Hamrén said that Zlatan would not be allowed to leave France during the Euros, but that he is permitted to do what ever he wants during his free time. Hypothetically, he could sign the contract in his hotel room, right?

Just a passing thought..

Sweden are in a group with Ireland, Italy & Belgium.

If they get eliminated in the groups, his Euro's will be over on June 22nd. If we assume the PSG contract needs to expire on June 30 before he can sign, we should be hearing something concrete on his next move by July 2nd/3rd

I don't see why not. I'm almost certain that's what Fabregas did in Brazil during the WC. I remember him holding up the Chelsea jersey while in a hotel room.

Italy and Belgium will piss their group but Sweden will probably still finish as one of the best 3rd placed teams and qualify for knockout round. Hope they don't.

Overestimating Italy and Belgium there. Belgium look like a poor team filled with great individuals, while Italy will miss their best midfielders. They don't really have anything special going forward either.

They should still qualify with ease when you look at how poor standard ours and Sweden's squads are.
OMG, heresy!

COYBIG

I am Irish myself mate. Can't see us doing anything in this tournament, just being realistic.

Some reports over the last few days that he and the club are arguing over his desire to play in the Olympics. Is he having a laugh?

If you think it'll be hard to get Pogba, you can rest assured that it'll be a piece of cake compared to getting Verratti.

Call the move off if he wants to play in the Olympics.

Yes to Verratti, no to the Olympics. WTF is he thinking? Focus on the PL you cnut. Euros are enough.

He's already said he's not interested in money, he's coming here, it's signed and sealed, will probably be announced after the Euros.

Can you imagine that smile when he scores the winner against city and the scousers next season

At United? No I don't think so, he will go to the MLS or China after

Apparently China are offering him double the wage right now so he isn't going after money if he comes here

His ego doesn't allow him to end up playing in a 3rd rated league. After 'conquering' Spain, France and Italy he must come to Britain and 'conquer' it too.

However he's not a spring chicken anymore and if his body can't sustain 2 major tournaments ahead of the EPL. This can easily end up being nothing but an ego trip for him were he ends up richer and we end up in trouble

Nah, he's said before he thought it was too late for him to come to England but I think him having such a great season and Mourinho (a coach he likes) being after him for an English club has made him change plans and want to come here for another title.

Apparently he wanted to play for Beckhams Miami team so I don't think he has an ego preventing him from going to a 3rd rated league either

What did Graham Bell see after inventing the telephone. Two missed calls from Zlatan.

Am I doing this right?

I think i remember him saying in some interview a while back that his participation in the olympics will be up to his new club.

Honestly, if you come from a country that has next to no chance of winning anything major, like the euros or the WC, I'm pretty sure you would love to have a go at winning some silverware for your country before you retire from the national team.

Footballers want to win trophies, grass is green etc.
