shit? he made sensational passes and scored 2 goals. how was he shit?
Even if he ends the season with 25+ goals, I would bet many would still not be happy with him because he's keeping their darling Rashford out of the team.
He was very selfish in the first halfSelfish? He is nothing close to selfish.
lol this is so true. Standards of what is considered a "sitter" rise exponentially with Zlatan.I have learned that the word "sitters" has a new meaning after Zlatan joined us. Every chance he miss is a sitter they say.
Didn't see much of the first half, but Zlatan is not selfish. The later stages in his career has for the most part revolved around creating and open up chances to others as a striker while scoring as well. He is one of the least selfish strikers/#9s out there IMO.He was very selfish in the first half
I know when that hotline bling.I challenge anyone to name a better striker that we could realistically sign.
I'll save you the trouble: there are none.
Maybe, but it was a fair assessment to say he was selfish in the context of that first half.Didn't see much of the first half, but Zlatan is not selfish. You're right.
Also, on another day, we'd have turned that Stoke draw into a win....
Also, on another day, wed have turned that Burnley....
Arsenal...
West Ham..
The guy just doesn't get injured does he? Thought he was done for when Adrian put a boot to his knee but he soldiered on and still played really well.
Even harder than Wilshere? He's probably the hardest man in football.
Can someone please ( @Olly ) make a gif of two moments. Both were in the end of the game. The first one was his look at Blind at the corner when the ball went straight through because of Blinds missed header. The second was Zlatan holding the ref away so he couldn't reach angry Rooney who had been kicked. Two hilarious moments from my fellow swede
5 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 matches.
I don't follow the French league closely so I don't have full context of his conversion rate, but as far as I remember him playing in Serie A, he's always quite wasteful for a striker in the same bracket. What I expected from Zlatan is beside his goals (while being wasteful) is occupy the opponents' CB, Zlatan's overall play to get other into game and score goal to offset his wastefulness, the leadership on the pitch and in the dressing room... If someone is fooled into the PSG's stat and discount the quality gap between that team and their league as well as regarding Zlatan as a more physical RVP, RVN, Higuain... Today is very typical Zlatan performance I know.11 goals, 3 assists, and in all honesty, he should have scored at least 5 or 6 more. So we've had Zlatan at what is below par for him. I'd say tonight was his best performance, the complete Zlatan performance. That goal he made with the pass to Valencia was the best thing he did, and he scored two goals besides.
Nonsense, I see these types of clinical strikers all the time. On FIFA and PES. And Eder, scorer of goal. The problem is, no striker in the world will ever be as clinical as the caf expects them to be. He didn't miss any "sitters" today at all.
