I don't know if he was just lacksidasical, tired or his head was elsewhere but he only seemed to be half paying attention to what was going on today.

Agreed. Apparently he was limping in the second half too.He looked very tired today
Did not look himself. That one chance where he decided to pass it sideways straight into the Stoke defence instead of smashing it at goal was criminal.

And yet he still should have had an assist.Possibly his worst game for us.
Disappointing today. He needs to really shoot from those tightish angles. We can't rely on always walking it in. Sometimes we need our big center forward to get a goal when he has a sight of it and today I thought he had many chances to score but decided to try and pass.
I think he had a lot of chances and also created a lot chances that should really have been concerted into goals - Mata being the obvious example.

I don't know how people keep imagining these chances/sitters he apparently keeps missing.Thought he had one chance myself
Not sure if the club should extend his contract for another year if we get Antoine in. I know he's here to stay for another year though, and Jose loves him too much for that not to happen
Yeah for me, he did look tired. And we'll need him at the business end of the season, both in the league, and hopefully in the Europa Cup. Might be a good time to give Martial a run out at striker.I wonder if it's tiredness finally catching up to him after all the games he's played without a break?
I thought that was weird as well. Or check-back that guy onto his arse. That dribble forward touch was so ... poor. It is almost as though he put his head down thinking he had acres to set himself. It was a strange play as he made acres of space and time suddenly look like everything was rushed in the blink of an eye. Maybe that was the trick of the onrushing defender?I still can't believe he didn't take a shot when he was clear on goal despite being at an angle. One of his worst performances for United

He looked bloody knackered today though.
I still wonder the same. Same with the cross which he tried to bring down and Shacross cleared.I still don't understand why he tried to pass the ball the second time.
It's about decision making, not just about being tired like the poster above to try make.
