Hasn't really gotten into the game at all. Slightly worrying, but I just can't see this Rooney-Zlatan partnership working. One is gonna have to make way, before we start seeing United really play to their best attacking-wise.

I've been thoroughly unimpressed by his hold up play from what I've seen of him pre-season. I counted five times he got the ball into his feet upfront and lost possession this first half. Hopefully just a little match rustiness, as I'd always thought that was one of his biggest strengths.
It was obvious within 45 minutes against Galatasary. Hoping that Jose will shift Rooney out eventually and put Mhiki in there.

Our players don't seem to be on the same wavelength as him. He's always trying to bring those around him into play, but they're not up to the task, as of yet. With time, they'll shine.
He's going to have to stay higher and make runs to open up options and pin the defense deeper. He definitely has the tendency to drop deep. United need him as a true #9. It's not all him, though.

Rooney has failed to control a number of easy passes to him. I don't blame him for being frustrated.
He's been everything I expected him to be: Slow, uninspiring and lazy. We'd have been much better off with Rashford starting. Zlatan should be second choice and not a starter.

I'm getting burned really badly by my friends. My point still stands. Zlatan looks more like Crouch than the top striker people expected him to be.
He is the new Cantona for us. He'll play shite most of the game, try things that wont come off and then inspire the team with a goal out of nothing. Zlatan's going to win us so many games this season playing shite.
