Your Hidden Gems or under the radar - Wanted Signings

Is anyone familiar with a young lad at Leicester City named Abdul Fatawu Issahaku? I have only seen the extended highlights from this weekend but he looked quality! It looks like he's 20 years old left-footed winger that was playing on the right.

The first highlight had him absolutely bursting past Ryan Frasier, who isn't exactly a slouch, and firing in a cross for an assist. Only his second assist, with zero goals, for the season which is surprising. The next highlight had him come inside from the right and curl a left-footed shot from about 25 yards that hit the bar. He then got on the end of a deep cross that drew one of the saves of the season initially.

I think the Sporting fans on here really rate him.

He's great, but I think Buonanotte is the bigger talent at Leicester (I wouldn't have said that before this season, mind you).

I think I'm a repetitive broken record in this thread..

Quinten Timber!

Jaouen Hadjam, plays for BSC Young boys at left back. Very impressive individually vs quality champions league opposition despite being in a poor team.

Would be delighted if United could nab him in Jan.

Looks like they're both starting today against Forrest. I can't watch though, unfortunately.

Dário Essugo, 19 year old midfielder playing for Las Palmas, on loan from Sporting. I think our resident Sporting supporters mentioned him before, but he hasn't done as much as people perhaps were hoping for, when he initially broke through. He's had a good start to the season though, despite Las Palmas as a whole not so much. He has very good physical traits, terrific possession-winning ability, good passing and is an excellent dribbler from what I've seen so far. Maybe someone to keep an eye on and hopefully someone Amorim rates.

Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt, not exactly a hidden gem, but not talked about enough imo. What a season he is having. Best player in Bundesliga imo. 10 goals and 7 assists in 9 games, and 2 goals and an assist in 4 games in Europa League.

He looks a ridiculously good player. Liverpool rumoured to be in for him, so we should definitely keep an eye out.

Are you ready to pay 100m for him? Frankfurt have quite a history in recent years of selling strikers after one amazing season for huge money (Kolo Muani, Haller, André Silva...)

I think most top clubs will have tagged Ajax' Mika Godts by now and keep a close eye on him.. What a beautifully joyful player to watch!

That's my worry. He'll have two years left of his contract next summer, so hopefully that could help. It didn't do much for Osimhen, though

I think he'll explode, and given how we've paid around the same for much less, I think €60-70m may do it. He looks like a superstar in the making at the moment - a late bloomer!

Chakvatadze, Georgian international left winger at Watford. He looks very good and his corner kicks are spot on.

Don't think he's a 'hidden gem' in Germany but Tom Bischoff looks a really talented player for Hoffenheim, still only 19. Plays the number 8 role and is really smooth on the ball, great at passing and creating chances. Will surely make a big move soon since his talent has been known for some time, made his debut at 16 I think.

Reportedly Frankfurt is very interested in signing him. Would probably make sense for them to bulid him up as Mario Götze's succesor.

Well in the contest between these two hidden gems, Issahaku v. Buonanotte, I'd say that Buonanotte had the better performance. Issahaku showed off his pace and quickness but I think he was hampered by being on the left wing instead of the right. Or it could be simply that I saw a few highlights of him and got over excited....

But Buonanotte looks class. I also appreciated how he has a bit of bite to him, in addition to classy turns and passes.

Would be a small step up from Hoffenheim, though I think if Hoffenheim stay up he can stay another season and target a bigger club?

Buonanotte does look class.

Buonanotte is on loan from Brighton which will likely make him much harder and more expensive to poach.

I reckon Kuhn will leave Celtic and go onto do big things either in January or the summer.

I think moving from a usually lower midtable team to a club that's consistently playing internationally and challenging for some cup almost every season is a good step up.

I think they're both talented and Buonanotte is just a bit further along. Fatawu seems more of a raw talent and his strengths may suit certain sides better. Buonanotte definitely has that aggression that will make him suit pretty much any side and all across the front line - as well as the quality.

I have no idea who this kid is but i kept eye on the stats of some other Portugese League strikers because i was wondering if Amorim would target another Striker from the league but from a different club.

Who is this kid Samu from Porto?

He seems to be scoring a goal a game & i just noticed he played against us and scored 2 goals vs us.

His goals dont look particularly easy aswell like penalties etc.

From what I’ve heard he’s quite raw, so I doubt we would add another raw striker on top of an already raw Hojlund.

I’m still optimistic Hojlund can turn things around though under Amorim.

He's a beast. Really bullies defenders. He was on Atletico Madrid's books and Chelsea were pursuing him but think there was a medical issue so transfer fell through.

He gave De Ligt a torrid time during the Europa League match a few weeks ago. He was impressive and I liked the look of him but he was very reliant on his physical attributes. He's young and I don't know how his game would translate to playing regular Premier League football.

Lukaku regen or better?

Borja Sainz anyone? 23 yo Spanish LW who has been tearing it up for Norwich in the Championship - Player of the Month for the last 2 months and scoring again (twice) so far tonight.Sure, it's the Championship but we're living with a tight transfer budget and, well, Ben Wharton and a certain Swedish striker tell you there are players there who can clearly make the step up.
