The grips on my elite controller were falling off so I replaced the whole shell and now I think I might have busted it for good.

I blame MS. If the thing had a better build quality I wouldn't have had to take it open!

I played Warzone with my regular controller and missed the paddles, big time!
It's still the best controller with paddles on the market unfortunately. Best buying one with a long warranty off Amazon.

You can get the core version and just move your paddles over to it.

It's a real shame that the build quality on those things is so dodgy for such an expensive controller. They feel really hefty and are really good to use, but I'll be buggered if I'm paying over £100 for a product so many people have problems with.

I bought some spare parts for my current one. I'll have one more go at fixing it. It's not been as easy I thought trying to fix this thing.

A good reminder to buy Lost Odyssey for anybody who hasn't had the pleasure.

Never quite got into it myself, but it's usually available in a sale for a few quid.

Not related: into the third act of Pentiment, man this game is really good!

Really wish Ninja Theory would get a move on with Hellblade 2. Downloaded the first one yesterday, passing time till Starfield and am now playing it through for maybe the 5th time and it’s every bit as gripping as my first play through.

Genuinely one of my favourite games ever. So absorbing, great protagonist and graphically brilliant for the previous gen.

I started the first but haven't been able to continue it since my kid was born :( Really waiting till I have the time to restart it.

How do you find time to play games?! I’ve played about 2 hours in the last 9 months
I haven’t played AOE since baba came along :( just impossible to get uninterrupted time. And I usually play with the lads

get to play Baldurs Gate 3 when the parents or family are over to help us mind him. Also have it running well on the steam deck.

Also helps I’m still off work. I doubt I’ll get any time really once I’m back. Overall though I play nowhere near as much as I used to. I’d have probably sunk 70-80 hours into BG3 by now!

Ah man, it’s not that I miss having the time to play - it’s that I miss actually wanting to play in any of the time I do get. I used to love sinking the hours into a game and getting really invested in it but now when it’s grabbing an hour or two here or there I find I just can’t be arsed with it.

Yeah I hear you! There are a few games I was playing before he was born that I’ve completely given up on because they weren’t anything special so I don’t feel like they’re worth the now limited time I have, especially when I’m exhausted!

Baldurs Gate 3 is special though and the only one I legit look forward to whenever I can get to it, it’s just wonderful.

I miss AoE cause I played it with close friends who live a good bit away now and it was nice to jump on with them. 2 of us just had babies so I feel bad for the other 2 who have basically gone from 3-4 nights a week playing to 0 now cause of us

Finished Pentiment, that was really good.

Just started Sea of Stars, and that's pretty good so far (2 hours in). Music is great!
