Dead console
I preloaded Stalker 2, a few days ago. It was massive - 140gb. Now, today it wants another update. The update size? 139gb!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying it . I want to like it after all the devs have been through, but I'm doubtful I will. From the little I've seen I don't think it's my cup of tea, but it's on GP so, I'll give it a go.
Anyone else checking it out?
I was gonna pass on it because I left behind my Indiana Jones interest when I became an adult, but I'm intrigued now as it is getting a really positive buzz.Sounds like Indiana Jones is good. Think I'll be resubscribing to Game Pass for December.
I finished up Indy and it's a pretty good!
I would say it took me 15-17 hours to finish. I did a handful of side stuff. But aside from that i mainlined it. It's a decent size game.
The decision to not make this an action game or even a fps is a smart one. It helps the game stand out and is fitting for the IP.
I do wish I enjoyed the stealth mechanics more than I did. Same for the climbing.
The writing in the game, and especially when it comes to indy, himself is on point. Really spot on. This scene is a good example of what I mean (Spoiler, I guess for side mission).
Excellent news.Unreservedly recommending Indiana Jones. It’s brilliant.
Is it available on Xbox now. I've been playing it on my phone for years. Can’t wait to play Candy crush on Xbox
4th controller in two years to have stick drift. Absolute joke
Not going to happen, at least not day one MS games anyway. PlayStation has Ubi+ Classics and EA Play, neither of which offer day one games. Besides, I think MS would prefer selling the games at full price on other platforms. Part of the reason they've done this multiplatform pivot is because Game Pass alone wasn't enoughEDIT - Would be good if they could transition to a model where a MS Games-only Game Pass sub is available on the PS Store moving forwards, otherwise, I'm not sure how it's going to work out for them.
It’s game of which year?I know its game of the year, but why coudnlt I enjoy Indiana Jones? I mean the story is nice, but the game feels slow for me. I am still in Egypt, so probably in the beginning.

Aye you're just incapable of enjoying good things?
I've heard it happens to people.

It was when I bought mine, think there's more versions now though, might be a wireless option but unsureIs it wired only?
Why specifically the multiplatform stuff? To be fair, can't have it all ways. The gamepass has largely failed to sustain the generation, as expected, so them making up sales elsewhere isn't such a surprise. Is anyone here going to get an xbox next gen? If so, why?
They've totally lost me, I'm afraid. Series X will be my last. This multi platform move is a joke.
I got so irate with Argos when I took mine back after 6 months with stick drift. They flat out refused to replace it, even though it was within a year and under warranty and told me to go and get it repaired. In a fit of rage, I bought a new one from them, hairdryered the security tag, replaced the new one with my shit one, then re-sealed the box and returned it the next day. feck them.4th controller in two years to have stick drift. Great post.XBX
The mp stuff because I feel like I spent money on a Series X and it was a waste. Could have waited and played it all on PS. So, I feel a little stung by that. Plus, I'm abandoning ship, because there is, at best, one more xbox console to come, so might as well make the move now.Why specifically the multiplatform stuff? To be fair, can't have it all ways. The bigger issue is this grim AI push. That will alienate more gamers than they think, although many won't give a crap of course, but the Xbox division really can't afford any kind of drop off.
For me personally, they lost me last generation anyway. But then I'm so little of a console gamer now that I guess the days of buying everything is over. (He says knowing full well I'll end up with them all next gen again)
