I'm sold on Ed lads. Interviewer asked him if there is an expectation to win the league as a team going from 7th to 1st he mentioned Liverpool as being close to achieving that last season. Ed responded saying that while there are no set expectations he does not want the club to be an "also ran" and wants us to challenge

He came a cross very well in the interview, seem like a likeable guy who is very confident in himself.
Last season Id have said the same thing but I think positive moves have been made so far recently and Ill reserve judgement until after Aug 31st . I think LVG/Woodie have something major up their sleeves.
All he has to do now is let actions follow his words
He seemed much more easy going than Gill ever was in his interviews. Though Gill achieved success through quiet business, Woody is risking looking a fool again with his quotes but I have faith.
Someone like Woodward should be a priority for the English FA. He gets it, and also a financial entrepreneur.

Exactly. We all know last summer was a complete disaster but Woodward would surely have learned from it.
He's clearly a cocky guy, which I assume you'd have to be in his position. He wouldn't have made such bold claims if he didn't have anything to back it up.
