Wimbledon 2015

If I'm not mistaken the talk was about him winning each grandslam at least once, which he failed to do at the French this year.

you're right, but there was also a lot of talk about him being huge favorite for all remaining grand slams after he won AO and every atp masters he participated in and even the possibility of catching Nadal in terms of grand slams, which was pretty reasonable logic at that time tbf. and now this, struggling against Anderson after disappointing defeat in RG. if he doesn't win Wimbledon or US open, it will be pretty average season for him IMO.

there's no tiebreak in fifth set so they'll probably have to finish it tomorrow.

Don't know how much losing RG has messed him up mentally and his head is still not in the right place.

Play suspended.

Gives Anderson a slight chance, but in all honesty, I'd be shocked in Novak didn't complete the comeback tomorrow.

Djokovic will win tomorrow but playing three days in a row won't be ideal.

You never know. Its only 1 set and they're both going to be cold, the break definitely favours Anderson.

Ay, Kyrgios is a right knob. I'd dock him some of his prize money for that joke of a game he put in after the violation.

His interview is pretty woeful too, he didn't seem to give a feck.

You often get petulant players in most sports, but a lot of them seem to earn it. They're still dicks, but they're at least winners as well. Kyrgios has done pretty much nothing in the game thus far.

I was at Wimbledon today on Court 1. Really enjoyed it, particularly Novak. A bit disappointed they didn't finish it tonight but a good days viewing regardless.

Went to bed thinking Novak would walk over Anderson. Pleasantly surprised to see it in a fifth set, although Djokovic will more than likely finish him off. Out of all the genuine threats I thin Federer has been most impressive. He has had a relatively soft draw though, and I expect him to beat Simon in three or four sets. His issue lately hasn't been destroying the weaker players, but it will be interesting to see how he handles the physicality of Murray.

Murray's serve is definitely an issue atm. Though I thought his tactics against Karlovic were smart, so I don't have an issue there. He has been having lapses in matches where his first serve goes missing, and against Fed, Stan or Novak that will cost him a set. His 2nd serve is just laughably bad, but it always will be.

Well that's annoying, Nole and Anderson off the court again. Will this ever finish.

It's underway now. Easy holds for both, it's such a shoot out playing 1 set after a night break.

Anderson's just about to throw it all away....

Anderson's thrown it away. All that great tennis and he's had an absolutely terrible service game to lose his service. Shame that he's going to lose due to mistakes on his own part.

Women's tennis was actually interesting some year back. Sharapova, the William sisters, davenport, kuznetsova, Justin Henin, muresmo, clijsters, compared to the nonsense these days.

Sharapova is almost impossible to watch. That grunting is just unbearable.

Sharapova is almost impossible to watch. That grunting is just unbearable.

And now we have the fecking annoying Azarenka screaming on every bloody shot! Why they allow this shit I don't know....totally unnecessary and makes watching with the sound up impossible. Come on Serena finish it quickly!
