Wimbledon 2015

It's a shame because Kyrgios got all the talent to be a top player. I wouldn't mind this crap if he was some otherwise uninteresting journeyman to liven up the games he's in. Hopefully he'll get his act together... thundercnut.

He clinches the 3rd set, though. As I said: He's got the skill, but his personality repels me.

Kyrgios is nuts. The 2nd set and now this. Also, having money on over 3.5 sets in a double with Troicki. The tension

Tennis needs crazy competitors. It's so sanitized these days with eloquent, graceful sportsmen like Fed and Nadal.

Great to have a complete arsehole putting controversy back into it.

Completely agree. Kyrgios sometimes go overboard but you count for show when he plays.

Nick Kyrios is great

How can you not like him?

Why is he great?

Happy to see Gasquet in the quarters. Someone who should have accomplished more in his career.

Because he's hilarious watch. Like a young, petulant, Ronaldo.

I don't think there's anything entertaining about him.

I bet you enjoy watching him get knocked out.

I hate Suarez and enjoy watching things go wrong for him, that's an element of football I think we'd be worse off without.

Every sport needs villains.

Good tiebreak between Murray and Karlovic here.

I have to ask, what is actually wrong with Andy Murray? Why does he spend the entire set barking towards his box like some lunatic?

Despise Karlovic. He's spent his entire career with one of the most laughable returns of serve you will see.

I am an Aussie and I hate Kyrgios. Total brat. Will give him a chance to mature because he is young, but is still a tool.

Would have been harsh on Murray if he lost that set. Early break.

Karlovic is like a boss in a video game that once you figure out his one move is easy to beat.

I've always wondered does giving yourself a green smiley cheapen it?

Murray needs to sort his second serve out. If he gets through today Novak/Federer/Wawrinka will destroy him on that.

Just turned it on and saw Murray lob Karlovic  how is that even possible?

Thats the 4th time he's done it this match, all from the exact same position. He did it twice in a row at one point

He reminds me of Lleyton Hewitt. And I Fecking hated Lleyton Hewitt. It was immensely pleasing to see him slip away into obscurity.

Karlovic looks like he's been robbed there.

It's not very often you can question Murray's tactics but he's been playing to the Karlovic forehand far too often.

He's brutal for my blood pressure.

 The latest lob was incredible. Karlovic can barely jump.

Stan the man is in great form. he could be in for another gran slam title. He has incredible power on both sides.

Murray through.

He's going to have to improve significantly if he's going to win this imo. His second serve looks very very vulnerable.

A lot of amazing passing shots and the lobs were tremendous but Murray's serve looked so weak, 1st and 2nd.

Karlovic is tricky and was playing his best tennis by a stretch so a good win, but must improve to be in with a shout.

Murray served excellently for almost three sets. It only started to tighten up towards the end. It's a mental thing more than a physical thing against the likes of Karlovic.

Excellently??? He was serving at 3/4s pace to raise his percentage and didn't even achieve that with great success... Not to mention he played almost exclusively to Karlovic's forehand.

He faced one break point all the way up until 5-6 in the third. Multiple games were won to love. He was serving at around 80% for a large percentage of the match, and taking pace off the serve was sensible given Karlovic can use every return game as an excuse to lash away at weak second serves. That's an impressive serving game overall.

Playing to his forehand regularly, which he did on the deck, too, was definitely an error.
