Why is he training with Cardiff if the deal is not confirmed? We've obviously given him permission already. Presumably it's just down to formalities now, so nothing to do with Zaha giving Moyes a nudge.

Quite so, i didn't read that section of text on the right.

Hopefully is ready to play because Cardiff certainly need him.

Gone on loan to Cardiff until the rest of the season, good luck to the lad. He's clearly got some talent, and it is bemusing why he hasn't been given any chances to play (All Lauren jokes aside). I hope Cardiff play him a lot and he has stormers for them with Fabio, show Moyes what he's been missing.

Zaha is one of those 'too cool to smile in a photo' arseholes, isn't he?

Seems to be smiling here.

Good luck to the lad. Moyes clearly doesn't fancy him as he's frozen Zaha out almost entirely, so I doubt he'll have a future at United. Whatever happens next I wish him all the best. Just weird how Zaha played almost every game in pre-season up to the shield and then gets dropped like a hot plate.

Did you miss the article linked a few pages back? There's been a few reports about Zaha not training properly, turning up to games late and generally thinking that he's made it. It's not about Moyes not rating him, but about him getting his act together. If he doesn't make it as a United player, it will be almost entirely his fault and not because Moyes didn't give him any chances.

And when did this start? In pre-season when he was regularly getting picked or only once it became obvious to him he was in David Moyes' 'do not rate' box? I'm not saying its good for him to turn up late or refuse to turn out for the reserves but you can appreciate it if he's taken his eye off the ball after being frozen out.

We both don't know why he hasn't played. Could be because Moyes doesn't think he's good enough yet for first team football at United, or could be something to do with his attitude. What I will say though is that if a player is slacking off just because he isn't getting minutes, instead of training even harder to convince the manager, then I don't think he should be at United.

This is potentially a very important deal for us and England. He's got the potential to be one of the first names on the team sheet for both teams and I reckon Ole is just the man to oversee the next stage of his maturation. I wouldn't be surprised to see him going to the World Cup in the summer.

Being palace's best player for last season, and have had a good performance during pre-season, I'm a bit surprised that Zaha had only a few chance to play. A loan deal to a team as Cardiff City is the answer for the lad to prove himself.

Why he didn't get a chance here while Ashley Young played I have no clue. I expect he'll play well for his loan spell, come back and never play again for some reason, while Young is given a contract extension, ownership of Manchester and a new religion dedicated to him.

Just knew he would do well today.

It is also quite funny that we shipped out three central midfielders in the transfer window.

Odds on Larnell Cole scoring against us this season anyone?

If you actually look at the goals though, the pass for Bellamy's goal while nice from Zaha's point of view, he had acres of space. For example we had none today vs Stoke. The second looks like a pretty decent corner from Zaha, even if we picked him for once he'd never get to take a corner anyway because RVP and Rooney want to.

Heard on the radio that he was top class when he come on today. While we are stuck with Ashley fecking Young.

The point is he should have been given a chance to show what he could do rather than sticking with Young and Valencia.

Our league cup campaign was very conservative this year in terms of given youngsters a chance. I know Moyes wanted to get a trophy as quickly as possible but throwing in a kid here or their wouldnt have hurt.

"Man of the Match: Wilfried Zaha. Omitted from the starting line-up but brought zest to the Cardiff attack when introduced and provided a fine assist for the equaliser."

Very well done to Wilfried Zaha. I have been a fan of his ever since I saw him give our defence a torrid time in the League Cup. Got to say, it has been pretty frustrating seeing Moyes absolutely refuse to give him any sort of a chance and I was willing him to go on loan because there seemed to be no chance of him showing his ability here this season. The most baffling part of it for me is that despite Valencia and Young's dreadful form, he wasn't even considered as an option to bring on from the bench.

In my opinion, he will go on to be a top player, and I very much thought he would show his talent if he's given a chance for us or on loan. This is a very good start for him, I hope he carries on this form for Cardiff and returns to us in the summer with a great deal of confidence and Premier League experience so that he can really stake his claim for a first team spot.

To add insult to injury Zaha who has been ignored by Moyes all season changes the game for Cardiff and provides and assist with a neat ball through the centre!!! Through the fecking centre!!! It is just laughable. He doesn't run around enough in training like Valencia for Moyes though.

Forget the league cup. He should have been starting league games

Yeah Moyes would order him to keep running down to the corner and cross cross cross..
