It is often remarked upon how a new manager didn't choose such and such a player and therefore expectations of how they'll view them are not guaranteed, yet surely the converse is also true to a exent, Zaha was sold a vision by SAF and very likely believed in capabilities of the man whereas with Moyes...
We don't know what Moyes is asking of the player in training , the style of football played since August has been somewhat more inhibited than used to be the case and the clash may have begun there.
The lad has gone from plying his trade to a fairly decent standard on a weekly basis to none at all, such cannot be conducive to maintaining the level he held previously let alone developing it further. The explanation being put out concerning the lack of a loan deal stands up to little scrutiny and has only increased the mutual animosity between the two, Moyes either needs to rehabilitate Zaha position at United or allow Wilf to prove him wrong at Cardiff until May.
