Didn't know where to put this. New diary entry by Ducker.

  • People are surprised at the global appeal of United considering the size of Manchester.
  • DDG is relishing playing in Denver where the air is thinner.
  • Players were told one Friday that they didn't have to come in the next day if they didn't want to. Underlying message = come in if you expect to be treated seriously. Who was the only player who didn't show up? Zaha.

What a fecking idiot.

Ducker's new Times article said that Zaha was the only player not to show up to an optional training session. Certainly reinforces the rumour that his attitude is not all that.

Says it all about him and his Utd career so far.

Might explain why he didn't get a run out against Galaxy.

Just confirms what we all know, he is an idiot with attitude problems that doesn't have the mentality to make it here

Zaha is pissing his talent away. Shame really because he has potential.

Mmm very interesting! Zaha you pillock!

 What a clown.

He's one of those talented footballers that just expect to breeze through and haven't got the right attitude to apply themselves! Shame really!
Certainly looks that way. If he's got such little desire, he might has well spend the rest of his career going from one mid-table pillar to another mid-table post.

ffs Zaha. If he listens to LvG properly, he can really become a very good player. LvG's words were telling when praising Reece James. "If you listen good, you do good"

Really no surprise about Zaha, most likely Van Gaal will sell him.

22 this year, still time for him to turn stuff around but so far he's looking like another one of Fergie's weird signings who we've overpaid for. That last line doesn't inspire me with confidence about his future.

He's definitely at the wrong club if he thinks that with such an attitude he will make it here.

For all the criticism Moyes got, almost everything that comes out about Zaha has a tinge of this sort of stuff. He needs to cop on to himself and take the chance he has.

Not just from Moyes either. Reading between the lines his other two managers were less than impressed by his attitude.

Does my head in when footballers have so much talent but simply can't be arsed to make the most of it. Maybe he'll suddenly wise up and take his thumb out his arse. Stranger things have happened.

If he is another busted flush Fergie's transfer record over the last 4-5 years will start to look downright negligent.

B-but Moyes was the bad one to Zaha :(

I've seen people say that but from the start, Moyes reproched Zaha is lack of commitment. He was absolutly in his own rights regarding Zaha handling.

Just sell him if that's his attitude. It would understandable if we 18 but his almost 22 for feck sake he'll be one of those players who'll transfer to multiple mid table clubs but still won't make it.

Yeah Solksjaer made a point of mentioning Ronaldo's attitude in training when talking about Zaha and Holloway's column in the Mirror spoke volumes.

Absolutely. There were worrying signs about him coming from English U-21(?) coach, then Ole and now this. Worst thing for him is that he's not even getting the fans behind him because he's acting like a cnut. That instagram photo when Ole hugged him or high-fived him with some cringeworthy description below it that was meant to hit Moyes still makes me laugh.

That story seems just a bit too perfectly tabloid to be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but. If it is then surely Ducker or one of his esteemed colleagues will ask Louis about it at the next presser. Until then I reckon I'll stay off the bandwagon.

 You can only laugh at that. He must have talked to other players as well, still decided to just feck about.

Eh? Ducker was the one that wrote it.

Van Gaal wasn't there, yet.

reminds me of that simpsons quote
Marge: homer the plant called, they said if you don't come in today don't bother coming in tomorrow
Homer: Woohoo a four day weekend!

thing is surely he knew everyone else was going in, are we to believe not one player pointed out the obvious trap and told him to get his arse into training.
the players would've discussed it and universally decided to go, that he didn't bother anyway speaks volumes. young fergie would've literally killed him

If this is true then he's a moron.

That said, he still took him on tour.

I don't think he's all that talented anyway. A waste but I don't think we're losing out on a potential superstar. Disappointed but not that bothered in all honesty.
