Ryan's Beard
Probably doesn't have a career as a comedian
Pressure got to him.
He's looked God awful in the last two/three games. At times I was wishing the ball wouldn't drop to him, or get a pass. Its like he's switched from world's best to worse than Aspas in the matter of weeks.

I think he's worth 45-50M but when Bale goes for a 100M, he'll go for at least 70M. If he goes that is.
I couldn't give a flying feck about if he leaves or not, that's all he's worth IMO. If you think he's worth more than 75M if not for the crazy market of these days, I honestly don't know what to say.See, this is why he's going nowhere. I think these big clubs have ridiculous Wenger-esque thinking like this.
You forgot to add the "...and £1" to your valuation with the anticipated "what are you smoking and you can f**k off" comment from John Henry imminent.

Why'd I ask John whoever to sell someone that I don't care about? I repeat - I was just saying my thoughts on what Suarez's worth, not what he's up to this summer or what money he's leaving for should he move at all.You can tell me to f**k off just like John Henry will tell you to f**k off with your "IMO". The only key factor here being John Henry holds the Suarez card and you don't.
Wow that is an incredible stat indeed yeah.47% of his goals came against the bottom 4 apparently.
That's an incredible stat which makes me think whether he has been the best footballer in Premier League this season or not.

Well-connected Uruguayan journalist Martin Charquero reporting Luis Suárez will have meniscus procedure tomorrow, should be ready for WC
Trusted South American football journalist Martin Charquero has reported in the last hour that Luis Suarez is to undergo surgery to solve a problematic meniscus in his knee.
Suarez complained of discomfort during a routine training session with the Uruguay national team and was immediately sent for an MRI scan. The scan revealed an issue with the meniscus and Suarez is to undergo surgery as soon as possible.
The extent of the issue isn't fully known and won't be until the meniscus can be properly inspected, there's hope that Suarez will simply need a clean-up of the meniscus and not a full repair.
Journalist Charquero also says he has received confirmation of Suarez's injury from his brother, Paolo.
Uruguay are confident that he will be fit to play in the World Cup
Yes it is. Meniscus is like the inter-vertebral disc, provides a cushioning effect to the joint. A healthy meniscus, a healthy knee.'Clean up' sounds like they're just going to clip it off because he obviously doesn't want to miss the world cup. Isn't that bad for him long term though?

It's 16/31 against bottom five, so 52% of his goals against the 5 weakest teams in the league. So half against 4 of the worst teams? It reminds me when Berba got his PL golden boot.

I'm surprised not more is made of this, as his scoring record is being used so strongly to enforce his position as 'one of the best in the world'.

Agree with this.
I read an article that looked at how the premier league would have finished if you only took into account English goal scorers:
http://www.football.co.uk/liverpool...only_english_scorers_counted_rss4718625.shtml
What surprised me the most is that Liverpool are only 2 points off their actual total. So if you took away Suarez's 31 goals, they would only be 2 points worse off - which is crazy!
Combined with the fact that over half of his goals were scored against the worst 5 teams in the league, then it casts his season in a different light, in my opinion.
I wonder what Suarez thought of tonight's result.
