With "assist" I have this concept in basketball where you have to be the last passer of the ball to the guy who scores. All these winning penalties, hitting the woodwork mean nothing to me.

LOL so he basically called your bluff, i've began to respect him more since the summer, the amount of people that said we should have sold Suarez because he is a 'bad influence', just going to cause more trouble etc, glad him and the club stuck to their guns, does make you wonder though whats the point of these clauses?

He's talking rubbish, probably to make himself look good. Firstly the PFA read his contract and confirmed the clause could not be enforced. It was worded so that any bid over £40m meant they would have to negotiate a deal which basically means feck all. Also Arsenal weren't gonna take them to court, no club is going to go down that path for another player.

Sky Sports said he has scored the most league goals without scoring a penalty. I think he will break the PL record overall too if he carries on. Love him or hate him, he's just utter class.

He is obviously excellent player, but it's really weird that he is scoring so much against shit opponents, but rarely against big teams. Not doubting him, but it's interesting, because Liverpool are scoring lots of goals even against bigger teams.

I was very surprised that he went to Liverpool unchallenged and for only £25m. He was very highly rated at the time he moved.

Ronaldo is the best player in the world. Him and Messi are a level above every single player on the planet. Suarez has been brilliant, he's not Messi or Ronaldo though.

Ronaldo and Messi are clearly way ahead of Suarez. As good as he is, there's nobody close to those 2.
Okay Ibra isn't a level above him, but he's better IMO. Has 40 goals this season, compared to Suarez's 28 (mostly down to apps, but he's got a better ratio still). It's still laughable to claim Suarez is on Messi and Ronaldo's level though.
Third best in the world for my money. Certainly better than Ibrahimovic.
