has whacked the hammer to Roswell
Eh, I think you're a little conflustered here, GI...
Interesting.
It really, really didn't.I sympathise with him for the goal. Blocked off really.
Doesn't take away from his poor form though. He just needs competition, like any young keeper. It did De Gea some good to be dropped from time to time, it really helped Szczesny last season and Hart will have to do it too.
I posted the same thing in the Premier league thread and someone was adamant that it was Harts fault. I explained to him that the way Zabaleta let Campbell run into space it is clearly his fault when he wasn't doing his job properly. I think some just simply have an agenda against him. Yes, he has made some clangers, but so have others. Yes, I am looking at you lawman.
Ha ha cheers Proud Lyon yes I know others have made clangers but Harts seemed to get overlooked in the press and I think that a long with DDG's treatment of the press annoyed a few myself included. But for what it's worth let me clear up something fo yourself and Brightonian the defender in front of Hart is in the proper defensive position. Unless you are looking for him to do a specific job ie protect a weak GK!
Butland should really force a loan move as him and Forster have excellent chances to take the England spot.
Ben Foster is on top of his game at the moment.
Where could go right now with a reasonable chance of starting matches?
That is neither here or there though. Zabaleta was supposed to be tracking Campbells run, not once but twice and he failed miserably. Zabaleta was at fault for two goals and not one. If he cannot do his job properly, how on earth can you criticise Hart? If Zabaleta had done his job properly and followed Campbell and made sure the ball was his, then perhaps City might have won the match. As for the "overlooked in the press". This is probably with reference to De Gea being wrongly criticised by the press and Hart isn't.
At least the stupid faces and his laughing seems to have disappeared!
Yes, in the same way that Ruddy recognised the importance of first team football Butland can't afford to sit in the shadows all season long. Where could he go right now and have a reasonable chance of starting matches?
I can't imagine De Gea ever having a year and a half of pure shit so Hart needs to sort himself out very quickly I feel if he is to establish himself as one of the world's top goalies again. Could well end up as another run of the mill goalie which looked ridiculous a couple of years back.
Very interesting. Platt and Mancini apparently had plans to replace him.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Begovic-replace-Joe-Hart-Manchester-City.html
Yep, I was too sucked into someone meaningful finally criticising Hart. But Platt himself has pretty much said that he said he and Mancini 'liked' Begovic.Hasn't that quote already been knocked down by Daniel Taylor who said that Al Jazeera confirmed he hadn't even been on yesterday?
He believed his own hype. He was in front of me at Cardiff yesterday, and even when he's just standing there not doing anything of note he still gives off the aura of an arrogant wanker.
Why, what was he doing to give off that air?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Yet it was still difficult to look at him standing there and not think "what a prick".
But he can always rely on a good supply of Head and Shoulders!
All that says is that Platt is a dickhead,That might explain why Stoke bought Butland.
You have Joe Hart doing Head and shoulders whilst we have to suffer watching Iker Casillas on our screens scrubbing his hair. It is depressing.
Yeah it was embarrassing and in keeping with previous defence of the likes of Terry, Gerrard and Rooney. Leafed through every excuse in the book, ironically stopping short of blaming themselves for hyping his reputation in the first place.I've just been listening back to the podcast of last week's Sunday Supplement, my word the pane was brimming with desperate Joe Hart apologist.
We can now add to the list of reasons the standard of goalkeeping coaches in the Premier League, as well as big Joe not feeling the love from Mancini.
The fact that Neil Ashton represented the more objective voice says it all.
