If you read Jake Tapper's book about Congress, you would realise this is probably true. Politicians are sick...sick people.

…..THE ARISTOCRATS!If you read Jake Tapper's book about Congress, you would realise this is probably true. Politicians are sick...sick people.
Is she just guessing the right wing lot will like it so went for it? I don't get it. The police already have plenty of power to remove something that is genuinely causing a nuisance.
Everyone in the "our food is bland" and "English nationalism" thread is now an extremistHappy days are here again...
Revealed: plan to brand anyone ‘undermining’ UK as extremist
Leaked documents spark furious backlash from groups who fear freedom of expression could be suppressed

Yes. But she is threatening any Charity which is compassionate enough to give a tent to a homeless person with large fines.
Sickening.
Well said. Horrible human being. Also another one that complains about the social welfare while employing her two daughters on the taxpayer’s expense. The most interesting thing is that dorries, the champion of the online bill she supposedly wanted to protect kids from predators, knew of someone with child porn and instead of saying anything, kept quiet until she could make money off it in her book.
Scum.
I feel the urge to organise mass tent buying for the homeless. Stupid bitch.
WTF is this Cnut doing?
WTF is this Cnut doing?
How about nobody uses it then, if it is so inflammatory to each side?Such nonsense. The ironic thing is when the Israeli government use it it’s not considered anti-Arab or Islamaphobic but if the other side uses it it’s anti-Semitic. The Israeli government have used this phrase and are literally removing Palestinian presence as we speak but they’d rather call out footballers who are showing solidarity for Palestinians. Idiotic of the FA.
No it was on a dolphinBet he did it on porpoise.
He's a long way from the politics of his mentors, Foot, Scargill & Benn that's for sure.Switching to the Tories was a very lucrative career choice for him.
Well Scargill has his snout well in the trough these days so not so far from him! He's a long way from the politics of his mentors, Foot, Scargill & Benn that's for sure.
Snout firmly in the trough!
It's a little thing but the reports that it'll be included in the King's speech made the news somehow worse. Our loyal servant King Charles telling the British people that homeless folk need kicked in the face a little bit more.Suella Braverman saying sleeping rough is a 'lifestyle choice'. Plans to bring in fines for charities who give out tents to homeless people.
What is going on in the uk now, this is so sad how things are changing. This cruelty and lack of humanity really needs to be stopped, can't continue. Turning in to a mix of of 1984 and children of men, Jesus.
It's crazy how she's allowed to come out with such hateful rhetoric unchecked.Suella Braverman saying sleeping rough is a 'lifestyle choice'. Plans to bring in fines for charities who give out tents to homeless people.

add in her side comments about some of the rough sleepers being foreigners / not british. It's crazy how she's allowed to come out with such hateful rhetoric unchecked.
Sad slide into soft fascism in the UK.
Hardly surprising given his past comments on political issues + I bet Billy and Kate have been bending his ear about the homeless tent thingDid anyone listen to King Charles reading out the King Speech today.
He couldn't have sounded any less enthusiastic if he tried.
It didn't take a genius to realise that he was totally unimpressed by the government legislation plans.
The Palestinian protest isn't even taking place on the Sunday (Remembrance Sunday). It's on Saturday and it's taking place a few hours after the 2 minute silence on the Saturday. And he is quite correct about that.
People should not be banned from protesting. And I am sure that the vast majority will do so respectfully taking account of the Armistice Day tradition.
I have read that you have already been to many of these.
So will you be attending on Sunday. And if so, hopefully it passes without any adverse problems.

What we're seeing is the British government (and a few other factions) trying to whip up some nationalism, and using jingoistic tropes to make what have been largely peaceful protests into something a bit more fractious.
There's also been a few 'call to arms' from far right groups (EDL, and another one called 'Football Lads Alliance') to defend the cenotaph on the Sunday (again, there's no protest on the Sunday), but knowing their ilk, they'll turn up on the Saturday as well to provoke.
Edit: And yes, I'll most likely be attending (on the Saturday).
@Buster15 - Here's some more info on the far right groups - the Met has identified the far right as being the main probable cause of any social disruption:
Far-right and football hooligans main risk of public disorder at pro-Palestinian march, police fear (inews.co.uk)
