Blackmail?

It provides a bit more clarity to me in regards to why other members are yet to be expelled for worse crimes.

Self serving tories gonna self serve. They're worried about the leaks if they expel MPs.

I feel so sorry for nurses, a woefully under appreciated and underpaid job. Yet they continue to do it because for the majority they're incredible people.

Striking is unlawful? Are they going to throw nurses in jail? Or... ooh, scary.... Fire them? And replace them with the huge influxes (sarcasm) of nurses from abroad?

I think on this occasion it's because they secured a mandate to strike in November, and a 48 hour strike would take them past the six month threshold required to take the action.

No mistake though; this Government will try and use this as a precedent to try and ban further action down the line. Bit by bit we're having this democracy ripped apart. I'd protest but I'd get arrested for it now.

We are a disgrace for giving these cnuts an 80 seat majority. What the feck is this shit?

So:
- blocking the return of a UK National in a war-torn country
- making up new rules to make laws that bypass scrutiny
- BBC chairman quits after helping former PM an £800k loan (we still don’t even know who gave him the money!)
- attempted rejection of the press in Scotland
- rejection of the press in Wales

All in a day’s work for Tory Brexit Britain!

What is the point of a none disruptive strike? None. Strikes should be done to disrupt as maximum as possible. That is why I don't understand ask for permission to the government and plan ahead and let everyone know. Push through and if possible go to burn the parliament

"New policing powers will ensure hardworking everyday people will no longer be collateral damage to disruptive protests."

Meanwhile, hardworking everyday people will continue to be collateral damage to disruptive Tory policies and a shite standard of living.

Is that real or a meme? That single journey will have cost the same as the annual policing budget for a sleepy rural hamlet.
It was a one off due to there being potential sit down protests during the journey. Feels relevant considering today's farcical announcement.

No, but they would close down the unions that enabled the "unlawful" strike, so the nurses would never have a United choice again.

Tory 101.
