Westminster Politics

Judging by the list of ayes and nays, most of the non-Christians voted in favour.

I'd be interested in a link to that?

o

the only stat on MPs religon lists half of MPs as "unknown religion"

confirming that you made your accusation up

the prime minister of the united kingdom is on the record as having her faith frame her thinking, including when she voted to keep gay people in the shadows

This is true. It doesn't back up your statement however.

no one does because half of MPs don't talk about their religion until after they've quit, see another PM, Blair

or they're not actually, you know, religious. Again confirmation that your accusation is based on nothing but your own prejudice.

this is a matter of public record, the MPs who spoke in the house of commons against gay marriage quoted the bible in their opposition

once again please a link backing your statement that the majority of Tory MPs voted against because of their faith. Some did we know that. Do you know the difference between "some" and "all"? Stop obfuscating. There is no public record of any such thing.

hahahahahahhaha this is so funny imagine poor people dying at younger age because of systemic failures that shorten their lives

No it's not funny and it's poor tatse to laugh. I know this as I work in community based services addressing poverty and health and wellbeing issues in some of the poorest communities in this country. But they are not being murdered by christian puritans so they can't vote against them. THIS is hilarious.

i don't have a manifesto you said one thing that's not 100% true all the time what a dick

I'm clearly referring to a Tory manifesto. You're going to need to up your reading comprehension game or you'll continue to misinterpret what you read and you'll get pulled up on it.

Your avoidance of criticism of the Labour Christian movement is pretty telling here as is your lack of acknowledgement of the church's clear position on the impact of current benefit legislation on vulnerable people. The irony of this shouldn't be lost on you.

ian duncan smith who wrote the universal credit legislation is a catholic, and no it doesn't matter that other catholics wrote to him to tell him off about it
ah yes the religious left i definitely ignored with my lack of reading comprehension

Yes we've had that. Where does it state their faith?

I never said it did, just looked at the list and went by non-Christians I recognised (by non-Christian obviously discounting atheists and agnostics in reference to @711 initial question)

left wing catholics wrote to him

Oh dear. I'm referring to the Christian Socialist Movement as linked? Still no comment?

You're floundering here. IDS got letters off some left wing catholics? We're not doing well with the links so far but I remain hopeful....

if you really want criticism of the christian socialist movement here it is: feck off you infantile shits but please tell jesus not to send me to hell if he exists innit, tell him to send IDS to hell though

This isn't juvenile of course.

Where does it tell us these Catholics are left wing?

Bartley meanwhile was a Tory before joining the Greens who are also not a party of the left.

Shambles mate.

No idea what you’re on about. Might want to let this one go. Im sure there are left wing Catholic bigots as well if that’s what you want to prove.

I'm highlighting the wild bigotry in the posts of @Silva re the church and the murdering Christian Puritans of the Tory party :wenger:.

It comes in many forms and looking at his posting history there's not going to be any point.

120,000 deaths before this year, specially, and all hilarious to you apparently, because people being angry at politically motivated mass murder is nothing compared to calling the conservative party heartless puritanical sociopaths

No you're hilarious mate. Are you on some left wing version of Brain Force pills?

Strange times indeed. Lib Dems were seen at one time as the looney left .Amazing what a spell in a coalition with the Tories can do to you.

Think their change in philosophy largely came with the Orange Bookers, Clegg and co are fairly right-wing economically even if they identify with progressive social ideals.

Thinking again. Another GE forces Corbyn into a corner. He's won't get away with trying to campaign without talking about brexit. Coming out for brexit or another vote could cost Labour some marginal seats.
