If they're going through the courts it's already been investigated though. Police don't really have the resources to investigate this sort of crime due to the years of austerity we have had.

I was listening to it on the radio on the way home from work stuck in traffic and properly laughing out loud on my own in the car.

Behind a paywall, I guess the jist of it is that the Telegraph is prepared to drop Boris in it but not prepared to drop other important friends in it, because that’s how great journalism works.

From my understanding of this my partner who is Mauritian / English, born in London, could be stripped of her citizenship because she can apply for Mauritian nationality? :confused:

Yup. If she has 'reasonable grounds' to believe a person is able to become a national of another nation under its laws.

No, not naive. When people say that they don't mean they're surprised, they mean they are angry and it needs to end. And "always has been" is never a good reason to defend anything.
