Westminster Politics

It’s like a who’s who of malodorous cretins.

All day I've been reminded of that bit in Harry Potter when the death eaters take over the government.

These are quite literally the worst people who could realistically be allowed to run the UK.

Who made you gatekeeper? Your position is bollocks. What is the point of forums like this if not to help different people relate?

He also seems not to have noticed that as I live in France, and our company is registered and pays its taxes in France, I haven't benefited one centime from Tory Tax Cuts while at the same time providing jobs for about 300 people in Lagos and Luanda.

The fittest MP. Still a cnut.

Oh hey friend, I’m fATPL too, although I imagine we’re ‘f’ for different reasons...

I'm sort of jealous that you still have it all to look forward to, but happy to be able to decide every morning what I'm going to do the rest of the day rather than have crewing tell me.

Happy Landings.

And the new Minister for Education & Children is....

I'm not convinced by the direct link to austerity. I like this site, it calls out a lot of claims on both sides!

Tory Policy has directly put more money in my back pocket through lower taxes. And it is has (shock horror) also been the raising of the personal tax allowance threshold that has directly helped the less privileged.

Lower taxes, record numbers of people employed has been two advantages for me.

It is not just in favour of the rich. The less well off have been directly helped by Tory tax cuts.

Raising the personal allowance is regressive. It literally helps everyone EXCEPT the very poorest. E.g. since 2014 the personal allowance has been raised 25% from £10,000 to £12,500. If you earn less than £10,000 that hasn’t benefited you at all. But if you earn £80,000 that’s a nice extra £2,500 tax free.

Did Francois not get a job? Head of the army or something given his extensive catering corps experience or whatever his unit was.

That sucks! I don’t know your personal circumstances so impossible to really reply with anything useful. I guess the question is what would your ideal government do for you that stopped the shit you had to deal with?
Look it isn't necessarily what the government can do for me, I can only help myself. Truthfully i am so used to having nothing that it really is just the norm now.

What i detest however is the lies and easily the absolute shite is eaten up by the people.

Record employment since the 70's - Take away the zero hour contracts and people that are in voluntary roles and this is the worst and most obvious lie going.

Increase in wages in real terms (whatever the hell that means) - The minimum wage is £8.21 an hour if you are over 25. in 2010 when the Tories first came in to power in a coalition with the student screwers it was £5.93 which on the face of it is an increase of £2.28 an hour in 9 years, or 25p (hourly) per year if you prefer. In 2010 the average pint of Lager for example cost £2.79, it is now around £3.69 which is a 90p increase over 9 years and i am only using that one item as an example but if you take in to account a weekly or monthly shop the wage increase does in no way out value the cost of living. Petrol, food, clothing all increased.

10 years of austerity whilst selling arms to Saudi Arabia and cutting police numbers, firefighting numbers, covertly privatising the NHS, cutting taxes for the rich, homelessness on the rise, foodbanks on the rise, children actually missing meals AND having their school lunches removed, racism rising, prison officer numbers cut and numbers of offenders rising, bankers still getting billions (and yes it really is billions) in bonuses and all of this is ok? it is the attitude of apathy that has fecked this country and we have Boris now, he might well be a heartless, idiotic, racist, xenophobic, middle class twat, but hey he has funny hair and he occasionally rugby tackles someone on a football pitch and parachutes in wearing union flags for some reason.

i went a bit OT there didn't i? sorry about that.

So....It seems I have to be an unemployed, card carrying member of the Labour Party and on benefits before I'm allowed to post on here.

I'll just leave you guys to have your collective orgasm dissing anyone who isn't.

You see.....The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you grow out of it, but it isn't before you've had the reality of believing the shit and propoganda but then ended up having to eat your your pets to survive.

Sounds like capitalism.

I've realised something over the last few years and that is right wingers generally have two categories; the first is the incredibly smart people who know how to manipulate others to get what they want, and the second is the unbelievably thick as pig shit ones who don't realise they're being manipulated.

Grim cabinet, but then you'd think if he's so willing to alienate the Remain portion of the party immediately then he's pitching for an election.

Which could be good or bad. If it implodes on him then he'll leave the office as a footnote laughing stock. Which would be hilarious considering the grandiose figure he so desperately wants to be remembered as.

But now he's pitching himself solidly to the right, I imagine he'll have an easier job taking Brexit Party votes than Labour will have winning back Lib Dem defectors. I struggle to see Corbyn putting forward a particularly strong message on Brexit to galvanise the party, but if his economic message can win out and Swinson puts forward an uninspiring platform that reminds voters she's basically a liberal Tory, then could be all to play for.

This man was deemed ''fit to work'' by the DWP.

Worse than Doctor Caligari's cabinet.

I’m 23. Name me one domestic political crisis this country has gone through worse than hiring the xenophobic, out of touch and frankly scary cnut that is Boris Johnson as their PM to oversee one of the most important periods in Britain’s recent history?

Poll tax mate

Perfectly summarised.
