Wesley Sneijder

Are there any counsellors frequenting The Caf? I'm pretty sure that the powers that be here have a duty of care to provide a 'Sneijder didn't sign counselling thread', in order to prevent mass suicides.

The posters who care so much what others are thinking or saying could train a counselors as they obviously have a concern for fellow posters welfare

YESSSSS. Not happening, absolutely exhilarated. Delighted with this news.

I don't understand why it bother's you so much. The issues seem to be with you and you alone. Why do you take the time to participate in a thread you admit you have no interest in, simply to criticise the behaviour of other poster's?

Furthermore why do you feel the need or even think you have the right to dictate to people what they should or should not be doing while a match is playing?

If it bother's you that much why not start your own thread, make your case and you can discuss it with other poster's who agree with you or not, in there?

Honestly if people can't see what's wrong with posting in a transfer thread when the match is on fair enough.

Why do you think wr8 was banned from this thread? And why do you think that this thread is repeatedly closed? This thread reflects badly on the whole forum, it really does and it has done for a while now. You can say "if you're not bothered why post", but what does bother me is that people here seem to be happier talking about Wesley's wife's twitter status than the fact we've started the season incredibly.

Quite obviously the term "muppets" has become something of an endearing term over here, but it's a very weird facination with a player whose nothing to do with our club I can't understand.

He's going the Arsenal. So the guardian's rumour mill says.

So wages were 'apparently' the sticking point here, but now he might end up at Arsenal. Christ. The most annoying thing is that these journos still get paid for coming up with this crap!

The people you accuse of such things have also posted and talked about the incredible start to the season as well, so give over.

In fairness the Guardian rumour mill is always done with tongue firmly in cheek.

Don't be spoiling my fun!

I don't know about you but I found reading this rather fun

Arsenal are in the market for a new left-back, new right-back, two central defenders, four midfielders, two strikers, a false nine, a trequartista, a winger, a sweeper, a janitor and a tea lady. Nobody said manager, you'll note: they've already got one of those, and what a job he's doing too, they're very happy with him. And he's about to spend a whopping £6.2m on Fenerbahce's Brazilian left-back Andre dos Santos. Arsène Wenger also wants Internazionale's Wesley Sneijder and Chelsea duo Florent Malouda and Yossi Benayoun, not that he's scrabbling around in a blind panic or anything.

It's not that i don't get your point Twig, i just don't agree that it is for you or i, to judge what is acceptable.

You may not approve, and that is your right, but other's have equal right to spend their time and entertain themselves as they see fit. I see plenty of behaviour on here i disapprove of, but i am in no position, (nor would i wish to be) where i feel i have the right to dictate to other's how they should conduct themselves in any given circumstance.

You do have the right however to air your grievances and in a thread designed for that specific purpose, where you and others, both for and against can discuss the issue in depth.

Wr8 may have been banned and tbh this is the first i have heard of it, but if he has overstepped the mark, then surely the fact he is now banned means the mods are looking for just such behaviour and are dealing with it accordingly.

My point to you Twig is, gatecrashing another thread for the specific purpose of venting your disapproval is surely not the best way to make your point.

Well we haven't given Rooney what he "wanted" so expect him to hand in his transfer request in October.

 Quality

Means nothing obviously, I just love how when it's dying on it's arse something like this pops up to reignite it (You made the brolly bit up though, cnut)

I just checked and he made up the "ITS ON" part as well, which makes it seem a lot less emphatic.:wenger::(

I'm reading Berbatov thread from 2008 at the moment.

Some classic gifs.

If we were to sign Sneijder, how would it affect our valuation on the stock market? A genuinely big name in the world of football adding value or a depleted cash reserve subtracting it?
