I was on the same lines, until his tweet today.

On a side note how retarded is @1andonlywalshy on Twitter? His persistence that its going to happen is sad, I reckon he has no mates, at all.

He's an idiot. Clearly a Wum account, keeps on giving deadlines and then keeps on extending it.

It's like I said before though, he's paid by Inter to do a job & he's still on their books. Until / If a deal is agreed it will still be business as usual for Sneijder. He can't exactly come out and say he doesn't want to train on Twitter or show no commitment to Inter. Yolanthe's tweet as given me that extra hope I must admit, but I am more than aware of peoples decreasing faith in this deal as i'm getting there myself.

It wasn't the fact he said he was training, it was that he pointed out what game he was going to be involved in.

Anyway I feel like @1andonlywalshy reading into his tweets, what do I know?

The muppet has looked up.

I love how he reads into Sneijder's and his wife's tweets.

He kept on asking Kenji Gorre(our academy player)'s mom whether she knows anything about Sneijder signing or not.

Not sure that the alleged ITK's are any worse than 'respectable' journos these days. For example, someone here mentioned that Talksport interviewed a woman who thought Sneijder wouldn't leave Milan...because his wife liked shopping there.
*sobs*

He also wrote Sylva Sneijder (I think Wesley's mum) and Yolanthe constantly. The sad little feck

He didn't say he would be involved in it, just said he was preparing for it. Nothing to say he'll be involved, just like Nasri was preparing for Udinese

But yeah, lets leave the 'reading into it' to walshy. I think he has that covered.

If you think walshy's bad, check out @VarunNix, he's even worse, he was harrasing Sneijder's mum on twitter on Saturday about the alleged family issues!... Its actually quite pathetic, I almost feel sorry for them

Wouldn't usually quote Yolanthe, but this... this just has a smell of a move all over it:

"God decides and you just follow, when love fills you with joy, you will find happiness anyway.."

Man - she's just sniffing glue or something...

Inter's got a fraction of the worldwide following of Manchester United. Rooney is on a whole other level to this Dutch bloke, in terms of global status.

Who gives a feck anyway? Rooney's our best player and paid accordingly. Sneijder can't expect to join a club like United and demand to be paid better (or as well as) their best player, before he's proved himself at his new club.

But to say Sneijder isn't recognizable is far from the truth.

I distinctly recall Rooney's form being absolute shite when he pulled that transfer stunt out of his ass. If Rooney hadn't redeemed himself and didn't get back in shape, I doubt we'd be saying the same thing about him deserving to be paid accordingly.

Anyways, agreed that claims on Sneijder's demands are ridiculous.

Rams: "We don't need to sign Sneijder or any midfielder for that matter, we have plenty of young very talented midfielders coming through the youth system."
Caf: "Oh no we don't, we're doomed and Fergie doesn't know what he's doing. We want some fancy sounding foreign expensive signing because Football Manager says so. And Rams doesn't know what he's talking about."
United: "Sitting pretty on top of the leagues playing an as good as football as we've ever seen at United."

No-one deserves to be paid that much in football - especially in the heights of an economic shit-pile. How come since the shit hit the fan - top footballers have earned twice (or more) as much as they did beforehand?

feckin disgrace as its folk who've lost jobs or taken paycuts that pay these greedy cnuts wages & the players dont care of the sacrifices made in order for footballers to be able to retire from their short career at 35 & not have to do another tap ever again - whereas the ordinary worker has another 30 years of staying in work - if they can..

I'm sick of watching City's new signings rolling into the "Etihad Staidum" every week for their signing ceremonies.

We did sign 3 pretty good players earlier in the summer you do know? Sneijder isn't the be all and end all!

Oh I'm happy with our signings but watching those mercenaries roll in every week is pretty annoying.

Nasri looks like he's turned up at the wrong Manchester club

But they're boring, muppetless signings, forget the fact that they'd still improve our side. We bagged a young English defender (:boring:), another winger who's also English (:boring: :boring: ). The most exciting signing was a young promising keeper, but keepers aren't exciting signings and he looks like a llama. City on the other hand get Aguero AND Nasri.

'kin Glazers. Fergie out. If we had 'Arry then we'd bid for every player with an 82+ rating on FIFA.

 you also forgot to mention the World Class French full back they also signed. Our signings do look pretty measly compared to the quality City have brought in, Championship signings even :wenger:;)

Clichy negates all the good work done in signing Aguero and Nasri :D

Anyway a Serie A strike looks very likely this weekend so it's likely that both La Liga and Serie A won't be on this weekend.

PS: 7 days and 7 hours and the window finally closes.

De Laurentiis: "Moratti has told me that it cannot be done for Lavezzi due to economic reasons."

They're really struggling with money aren't they? No wonder they're selling the likes of Eto'o and maybe Sneijder and going for Forlan at 5m

Inter only get £15m upfront for Eto'o too.

Or they don't want to pay over the odds for someone they don't think is worth the quoted amount. Much like ourselves.

They're not buying anyone at all. "No big transfers" and you have to replace someone of Eto'o class.
