The same Howard Nurse who believed a story by @TransferSecrets or something like that and tweeted that Modric is coming in for a United medical around 45 days ago? The same Nurse who just tweets the same thing that's being tweeted by most "ITK's"? The same Nurse who was positive we have absolutely no interest in Sneijder and that too was proven untrue?

No, I mean the Nurse who gets asked about 20,000 times a day if United are going to sign Sneijder by the end of the day and then gets a dog's abuse when he replies that he suspects we won't.

He doesn't merit abuse for that but he's even less reliable than the self proclaimed ITK's.

INTER MILAN 'ACCEPT' MANCHESTER UNITED OFFER FOR WESLEY SNEIJDER (DAILY STAR)

INTER MILAN have accepted a £30m offer by Manchester United for Wesley Sneijder, according to reports.

Reports in Italy suggest that Inter Milan have accepted a £30m bid from Manchester United and that Wesley Sneijder is now free to agree terms with the club

The 27-year-old has been widely linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

Asked if he would be interested in a move to England, Sneijder said "Maybe. I have played in many big competitions in Holland, Spain and Italy and I'm still here. What is going to happen we will see but I am a happy guy."

Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini, meanwhile, insists he is not losing any sleep over media speculation regarding Sneijder's future with the Serie A club.

"The transfer market closes on 31 August and we have all been trained to live with these rumours for the duration of the season," he said.

old story, stop wumming

It's got to the stage where I don't even want Sneijder to sign for the club. I've got too excited about the prospect of a Cleverley Anderson and Fletcher/Carrick midfield.

This real journalist can't even spell his name:

Manchester United poised to make a swoop for Wasley Sneijder | Manchester Evening News - menmedia.co.uk.

Wasley Sneijder could have played his last game for Inter Milan with United ready to make a swoop before the Serie A season opens.

The Dutch playmaker has been on the champions’ radar all summer despite mixed messages from the Italian club.

One minute they’ve left the door for an exit open, the next they’ve slammed it shut in potential buyers’ faces.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has also been coy publicly but is believed not to have completely ended his interest.

Sneijder did not go with Inter’s 20-man squad for last night’s friendly in Geneva against Olympiakos.

He missed the final pre-season game of Inter’s summer due to personal reasons, according to the club.

New coach Gian Piero Gasperini is preparing Inter in Switzerland for their Serie A opening match of the campaign in the San Siro against Lecce next Sunday.

Sneijder remained behind to spark speculation that a departure is imminent.

Whatever, United are still keen to make one final attempt to land the 27-year-old.

They have been encouraged by reports that the Holland international has knocked back approaches from City to lure him to the Etihad Stadium.

The Blues are said to have been keen on a deal that took Carlos Tevez to Inter as part of a package to add Sneijder to Roberto Mancini’s squad.

The midfielder is not interested in moving to Manchester to join City but is believed to have been open to a switch to Old Trafford throughout the saga over his future.

Gasperini wants the affair done and dusted before Inter start their Italian League programme this weekend four days before the summer transfer window shuts and Champions League squads have to be sent to UEFA.

Without getting to "muppety"... it does seem a little coincidental that these "personal problems" have occurred just 10 days before the transfer window slams shut.

That's what you'd think after a whole summer of neverending rumours but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that his wife found out he had been cheating on her. Or maybe he told her she looked fat in her new dress, one or the other.

She can't look fat, and besides, I'm sure Wesley knows how it works:

I thought they had plenty of midfielders and Sneijder didnt fit into Gasperini's preferred formation. (listening to a lot of podcasts)
Why would they want Kaka then?

It's literally the same old thing all over again, these rumours won't stop until the end of window, will they?

got me confused.
God! We're terrible in there?

In the middle.
Saw a game on mutv the other day and we had giggs, Butt, beckham, keane, veron and scholes to chose from. I was smiling cus the football was mesmerising but was then sad cus I remembered that carrick for example is what we've got now.

I'm not the biggest fan of Carrick my self. But I must admit, he does a rather decent job when the deep lying midfielder in a midfield 3. I don't rate him at all when in a 2 man midfield, no where near enough creativity or aggresion. But I rate his defensive anticipation, and being able to intercept passes. He does well in the 'pass to a more creative player' department. Obviously no Busquets, but as a deep lying midfielder, who does the simple things well, I can't see much better than him tbh......

Edit: .......I'd prefer Fletcher though

What the feck? Seriously, how were you promoted? You have the football knowledge of a chair.

Ding ding ding. It's all over. Giggs-beckham is on the canvas, ko'd with a flourish of punches to the head.

All his energy was wasted in the first round, when he came in windmilling like a simpleton, and now he's out on his arse.

Good night fight fans
