I think Inter getting Sneijder for 12(?) million makes a lot of sense now, with his wages at Inter.
Rooney of course since he's our player and younger and better (imo) but that doesn't mean we couldn't do with both of them in our team.
Why would we say no to Sneijder?

Also keep seeing the same rumour that City are in for Sneijder coming from some Italian websites.

The papers have also printed story after story saying that he's willing to take a pay cut yet people keep harping on about these wage demands that we don't even know what they are.

That's your opinion. I don't think he is. If he is then the likes of Frank Lampard (of 2 or 3 years ago), Ozil, Xabi Alonso, and many other players are. I still wouldn't give him 250k a week. If he deserves it then so does Nani, Vidic, Rio etc. We'd be mad to do it.
