It's just not something that's ever really said by people here. Certainly not in commentary. We're always United, or Man Utd, or Man Utd. However whenever I've watched US Commentary it's near constant.

It's not a problem or anything. I just find it odd it's taken off in other countries and not here. There must be a reason for it.

The club use it a bit on the website etc don't they? Not fans or media much at all though.

Yeah possibly. I never go on there except for tickets or check my OU account so I wouldn't know. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just one of those weird dischordant things that sounds completely odd to me whenever I see it, despite it being a prominent and famous United thing.

Can you imagine Martin Tyler saying "and the Red Devils are going for the winner here"....It just sound so very very wrong!

According to Radio Italia and Tuttosport Sneijder has agreed to lower his wage demands and will hold talks with David Gill tomorrow.

If it was up to me, I would pick option 1 because getting a good striker now is going to be a little hard. Plus Berbatov does his job and he is not exactly complaining for being left on the bench. If we lose him then we have to find a replacement because Macheda and Diouf are not good enough yet to step up and play regular first team football.

Like someone else says, it's obvious some fans get more joy out of transfer saga's and laughing at rivals than watching their own team play/

I honestly have no clue how you've decided I'm a WUM, when you've got people calling me twattinater in the same thread, and people who're posting when our match is on. Of all the inane drivel in this thread, all the twitter links which are supposed to be banned, and all the tedious muppet pictures, I'm the one whose a WUM?
