Wesley Sneijder

Talksport with the same story that Sneijder will definitely be a United player next week after the Milan match.

They've been saying that for weeks, literally, as you well know.

Several weeks ago 3 idiots told Twataface that the deal would be done that week and we are still no closer, it must be 3 or 4K posts ago now.

'Inter Milan chief executive Ernesto Paolillo gave an interview to Rai Sport':

Paolillo, what are the chances of Wesley Sneijder's departure being announced after the derby in Beijing?

"As things stand at the moment there is no chance of that happening, despite what you might read in the papers. There are no negotiations underway to sell Sneijder. He is a key part of our club."

In England they are saying the opposite is true...

"Well actually I read a statement made by Manchester United chief executive David Gill in which he said something very different."

But if there were negotiations and if Sneijder did leave in the end, are Inter considering dipping into the market to buy a replacement?

"If there are steps to be taken, you take them one at a time, otherwise you run the risk of tripping up. And at the moment no steps need taking so we certainly aren't thinking about any replacements. If – and this goes for Sneijder as it does for any other player – we were to receive an offer that we simply couldn't refuse, then and only then would we think about replacements. But, I repeat, there are no negotiations at the moment so we aren't thinking about how to change anything at all. PS Sell Gibson, sign Sooty."

F.C. Internazionale Milano

Wonder how many more times it as to be said that there is nothing happening before it registers with some people.

For feck sake will someone delete this thread.its driving me fecking crackers.
The club are cnuts as well if there are to be no more signings then they should say so,so we can all settle down, and contemplate what we have got,

I agree that this thread is annoying, but the club have told you the situation over and over. It's not their problem that people refuse to believe what they are saying.

"What the feck are you doing here today?"

I tell you huwhat, you an' you paper can feck off!

I'm assuming the Daily Mail will be a safe haven, even more so than ever, for all things anti-united

He looked like he'd just shat himself at the end.

You mean that yesterday's article? The video is from the game v Barcelona... so what's the truth then?

You know what drives me crackers? Loud R'n'B music.

So I come home from work, I stick on MTV Base and turn up the volume.

Then I pace around my sitting room shouting about how it's driving me crackers.

I imagine it's similar to how you feel when you keep clicking on this thread.

So either he's pissedd because his 'friend' has betrayed him by printing things said to him in a private conversation, or it's because of his 'friend' printing bollox quotes. I'd say the latter.

This whole sneijder thing has been created by the media and twitter.

No I thought the article in the Daily Mail 3 or 4 days back kickstarted all of this talk. There was definately reports that he'd fallen out with Bob Cass but this is the first I've seen of the video, but then I'm not hooked on this thread like a raving loon.

I could be wrong but I don't think that's Bob Cass. I have a vague memory of seeing him on SSN. Obviously I could be wrong.

Probably the quotes a few days back saying fergie's said sneijder has to accept the offer on the table if he wants to be a united player... Or feck off. Suggesting we're actually in for him.

Does he say "I can show you my copy that I sent. You'd better believe it"?

Tomorrow another Inter official will say that Sneijder is available for the right price. Everyone has a price.

Does he say "I can show you my copy that I sent. You'd better believe it"?

Has the Mail changed the story? It now has a 'source said' instead if Fergie even though the title of the story says Fergie said it.

You blew it Sneijder, insists United boss who is confident with current midfield crop | Mail Online

fecking hell. All the muppets saying 'Bob Cass is Fergies mate so it must be true' and yet it sounds like the Mail were just making stuff up. May even have changed Cass's story without his knowledge.

Sounds like

Ferg: What was that quote(?) the other day
Cass: .........I can show you my copy I sent. Do you think I'd..(?) Eh?
Ferg: Don't (I'm no') say(in) another word. You and your paper can feck off.

Just reading online it seems the story was changed from the quotes being Fergie's to a "United insider". Does anyone know if that's true?

I'd still wager Fergie gave him an off-the-record interview (or at least he thought it was) and Cass either chanced his arm or the paper changed it knowing he'd gotten it from Fergie. I don't think a (seemingly) respectable journo like Cass would risk losing access to Fergie by making up quotes like that.
