So player is wanted by United but he won't come here because it's not sunny and warm all year? And I always though top players play because of titles when it really comes to the look of the city you're coming to.

Even Liverpool is cooler than Manc. Though they're both provincial towns at the end of the day.

I suppose. It does depend on what kind of person you are. If she's a clubber (or a coffee in a cafe) type, yeah, but I still don't rank Milan as a particularly special city. That is just me though, and I haven't lived there tbf. Just visited quite a bit.

I agree to an extent. I don't rate it highly either. It's not a particularly charming place. I'm just saying I could see the allure for the young and famous.

Also "shit hole" is quite strong. It's just not very clean is what I mean.

When she can go to the likes of Flares and Reflex over here?

Fussy cow.

SAF on the Sneijder story to ESPN press pass:

"Well, I keep reading about this. There's absolutely nothing at all into that. I don't think Inter are prepared to sell him. You get speculation every week and we have to answer these for some reason without trying to insult clubs or embarass players, there's nothing we can do about it.

Mark Ogden - Says SAF likes to play the press, things are developing with Sneijder and might happen before end of US tour. United were very keen on Nasri but that didn't happen, Sneijder is priority right now.
Marcotti - Thinks the story is a decoy and doesn't make sense for United, cites injury, cost, wages & Sneijder being an AM as reasons for this story not making sense in his opinion.

Well Marcotti was on television yesterday saying the deal was a "goer" and made complete sense.

They're all just making shit up.

I suspect by the end of the window we'll have been "on the verge of signing" Modric, Sneijder, and Nasri. Maybe a few others too. They can get away with talking complete bullshit because if it doesn't happen, it becomes "oh, things didn't work out." I wish I had a job like that.

I've said that from the start of this thread. Sneijder would be horrendous value for money and surely wouldn't fit in with our long term strategy.

For feck sake....I told you cnuts ages ago this wouldn't happen. Inter Milan outright denying it, Sneijders girlfriend claiming how much she loves Milan on the day of his supposed agreement and now Fergie saying there is no truth.

fecking muppets

its all over :(

Where are the cnuts with their ITK friends now?

SAF usually says one thing to the press and does the exact opposite. The Sneijder rumours have gathered pace the past few days and I think (desperately hope) something will happen in the next 48 hours.

This.

Went to the transfer forum jerking off
Left the transffer forum jerking off
that's when I had my epiphany
you can't spend the summer season jerking off

So what now muppets?

Nasri is out, Modric is out, Sneijder is out...is there anyone left?

I hear Owen Hargreaves is available on a free...

That's it then. Good thing I hadn't got my hopes up and knew it wouldn't happen. There's going to be mass suicide in the morning when the muppets find out.

 I love this place

I really fecking hate this forum during the summer. Twitter, The Mirror and Mail aren't sources. And I don't care if so and so works for a newspaper and is commenting on twitter. Believe it when you see it spastics.

So last night SAF said it's a difficult situation and "we'll see", and now he's said it's not happening. And then earlier today Marcotti was on TV saying it'll probably happen and that everyone in Italy was talking about it, and now he's saying he doesn't think we're even interested.

Basically, we can never believe anything again

Well, what he said is that Inter don't want to sell which means that we've tried. Good to know that, although we're running out of targets.

I don't believe he said "we'll see" at all. There was no evidence he said it, just some guy on here claiming he knew the Norwegian journalist who conducted it.
