I've been away all day and haven't been able to keep up with the muppetry. What's a quick summary of the day's events?

Manchester United hope to complete the £35million transfer of Wesley Sneijder after agreeing terms of around £190,000 a week with the Inter Milan midfielder.

Why would she tweet that unless she knows something? I think Sneijder may have decided to stay after considering a move.
She could be saying her goodbyes to Milan, supporting her husbands decision and hinting hes moving, you could interpret that message any way you want, hell she may have just had the best sex of her life and felt in a good mood, Ryans a quick moover......
Clutching at straws there, I think mine was a tad more likely tbh

Welcome to Manchester. Verony.
There seems to be something in this but i just cant see it, paying close to 200k a week and 35 million for a 27 year old goes against everything weve done in the market for years now, it would be a great signing but when have these ever come off? Benzema/Ozil/Sanchez you can name about a dozen over recent years where you just new it wasnt going to happen.
Really hope it does and unlike some of the others it does appear theres a genuine interest on our part but i dont see it happening at the figures being quoted.
Why not bid £35m for Modric instead ? Younger, maybe not better as a player but exactly what we need.
Spurs hate Chelsea, they would rather sell him to us. He wouldn't reject us, would he ?
True, but it's a long way ahead of Manchester.I'd just like to point out that Milano isn't actually very nice. It's certainly way down on the list of attractive, enjoyably liveable Italian cities. It's not exactly Barcelona.

Aside from the fashion shopping aspect and the fact it's usually hot (though it's unbearably hot in the summer and everyone leaves anyway) Manchester is actually just as good, if not a better place to live IMO. If Mrs Wes is so obsessed with it, she's either a native, or a WAGtastic shopaholic. I'm going to go with the latter.
