Wesley Sneijder

They were on ESPN in America supposedly.

Where are the quotes from anyway? If you Google them they just show that they come from this thread and somebody's Twitter account.

ESPN Press Pass had SAF answer a question on the Sneijder rumours and one question on De Gea. I wrote the quote myself (cut out a few words but I didn't change the substance of what was said). It's repeated today at 5.30am, 9am, 2pm & 7.30pm on ESPN UK.

I really fecking hate this forum during the summer. Twitter, The Mirror and Mail aren't sources. And I don't care if so and so works for a newspaper and is commenting on twitter. Believe it when you see it spastics.

Isn't it lovely, Lynk?

One minute he is inches away from completing a move and the next one we deny rumours, and the reactions are great.

Don't know if this has already been suggested but its just a unrelated thought: I wonder if Gill is in Milan to sign a totally different player or possibly a total of two players?

Also this;

Thanks for posting that.

I do believe that these are old quotes though. It is taken from the same "Meet the Press" day interview as ESPN Press Pass' last SAF interview. So this was at least 24hrs ago. Maybe more. Odd they haven't been reported until now.

For someone who really hates the transfer forum and doesn't believe in any of the stories, Lynk posts an awful lot in this thread!

SAF on the Sneijder story to ESPN press pass:

"Well, I keep reading about this. There's absolutely nothing at all into that. I don't think Inter are prepared to sell him. You get speculation every week and we have to answer these for some reason without trying to insult clubs or embarass players, there's nothing we can do about it."

Yes we've totally made a bid.

You've 40 posts in this thread, basically saying the same thing.

Appreciate that you don't think it's gonna happen, but what's need of pointing again and again. Just stay away from this thread, FFS.

Exactly. I don't know why he keeps popping into the thread to comment so often when he's so convinced that it's all BS!

Btw David McDonell who broke the Rooney to stay story first(when everybody else was convinced that he's off) has said that Sneijder has agreed Personal terms. People see the Mirror and thinks "Oh, It's Shit". It depends all on the reporter.

You're tearing me apart, Fergie!

It's the new trend of the Caf.

Anyways. Ducker, Ogden, McDonnell the three journos who are with us right now in Boston are all saying the same thing that personal terms are agreed, the issue is with Inter right now.

Yup a lot of the United journos are saying he's agreed terms. Or maybe just everyone's lying and it's a huge conspiracy.

On 31st August we'll probably get this;

"Manchester United can announce they have officially agreed terms with Wesley Sneijder... for when his Inter Milan contract runs out in 2015!"

So they would trust Kenny even if he went out and signed Gunnar Halle - as I recall he was born in 65 - so that makes Gunnar 46 years old now ...

I trust Ferguson a lot - but if he ran out and bought a 46 year old full-back who retired some 10 years ago - I think I would lose some confidence in him myself :)

Does anyone else think Sneijder would be a worthy no.7 at Manchester United?

We are just not going to take away the #7 jersey from Owen and give it to Sneidjer if he ends up coming here. I thought he could take over the #18 jersey from Scholes but I saw Young wearing it yesterday. I still don't know if that is final though.
