Well that is just great. One site says he has agreed personal terms but now this site says he has not.

Pretty sure Owen would give the number up if SAF asked him to. Number 20 would be an option as well. Fabio could take number two.

Several sources are stating he has agreed terms with United. The only stumbling block now is getting the deal done with Milan.

I'm done with it...That's not healthy any longer, the first thing I did the last couple of days when I got up was check whether that fecker has signed for us.
Nothing happening anyway.

Talksport just mentioned that Nani is part of the deal, £20m plus Nani.

I hope not...

Nani isn't going anywhere. Club officially said via Press Association(who doesn't deal with bullshit) that Nani isn't leaving.

It's so not typically us to wager off on wages, don't get me wrong, we never want to be held ransom, but surely if we're up to wages negotiation phase we would have survey Snejider current salary and have our own due dilligence as to his personal choices, and wage required, at least on paper.

Unless Sneijder didn't wanna come, we will surely get a deal, it's not like he'll be getting less than what he's getting in Inter anyway, Inter will have or maybe not having to sell him, but their book is on the red last time i read

Inter fans not taking online rumours very seriously. :D

Their source is a "goal.com insider"

I would get more reliable news if I put a tape recorder to my balls.

Fergie said WHAT?

Fergie ruled out bidding for Sneijder last night
"Sneijder?, no no there won't be anything happening with the boy, you seen the squad we have here already, and by the time New York comes around, we will have 29 players here. David Gill will be here tomorrow so at the moment until the tour finishes we won't be doing anything"

:(

Gotta hand it to you, nobody ever gives up.

I'm an optimist and besides the quote aren't right. I know I'll be a laughing stock on here if we don't Sneijder as I've been so aggressively reacting to this, but I genuinely believe that we're gonna sign him.

So, Fergie breaks our hearts again. It was too good to be true, we all knew deep down :(

Something will happen today, we'll force the move through using sheer willpower.

Scholes said his legs were gone. I see what's going on here, explains Gibson's disappearance too. We're clearly ********ly attaching Scholes' upper body to Gibson's legs to give him 10 more years.

Fergie also said Veron was a 'fecking great player' and would not be sold only to be sold to Chelsea a week later.

Well yeah, but Chelsea didn't come out and say they weren't interested, and Veron didn't come out and say he was happy to stay in Manchester. If I remember rightly, what he did say was that he had been wandering around Manchester like a lunatic.

Thing is, this is just another low in the roller coaster. This thread takes at least two turns a day.

Ranieri goes cool on Veron | Sport

Ranieri, speaking in Malaysia where Chelsea play the national team tomorrow, is known to be an admirer of Manchester United's Argentine star but said today: "Speculation is okay, it's normal, but that's all it is. When Chelsea sign another player, we will tell you."

Veron's salary demands of £95,000 a week seem to have cooled Chelsea's interest in the player, who has now declared that he wants to stay and fight for his place at United.

The 28-year-old said: "It has never been my intention to leave United.

"I want to stay and I have made my intentions clear.

Veron: I don't want to go to Chelsea | Manchester Evening News - menmedia.co.uk

"I don't want to go anywhere," he said. "I don't fully know the club's intentions, but I have never asked to leave and I have made my feelings clear. I do not want to go to Chelsea or anywhere else."
