Right, so you don't know what racist means, then do you? Race has nothing to do with one's country. I hate Argentinians. You'd call that racist. But I love Chileans (married one, in fact). So it's got nothing to do with race. Mustaine never said that he dislikes Hispanic players.
Yet, even Hispanic is not a race. It's an ethnicity. The only real races are Black, White, and Asian (though some disagree that Asian is a separate race). Hispanic, Arab, etc. are not races. On marketing research, census (at least the US census), etc., you'll see different categories/questions for race (with just those options or maybe "other" as an option instead of, or in addition to, Asian), and ethnicity (with Arab, Hispanic, etc., and maybe even specific nationalities).

On another note. Xenophobia would mean that I would dislike foreigners. I really have no problem with any country. My point is that you make a decision from talent of the players and experience. You pick the better player, Sneijder in this case. If the players are equals, you have a difficult task and you pick the better option (however you do so).
I'm a huge fan of Argentinian football players btw., Veron was one of my favorite United player in his time here and I was always rooting for him, Tevez and Heinze were both among my favorites as well. Maradona is the best player of all time IMO and my second favorite player of all time.

If Sneijder does come then that would signal the end of Hernandez as a starter for big matches. I'd expect him to be the furthest forward of a midfield 3 with Rooney upfront on his own. Berba might not even get on the bench a lot of times.
Support would be provided by Young who is adept at playing through the middle or out wide.
Playing Rooney as a central midfielder would be madness.
I don't know I'm not as excited about this signing as the others are. For me Modric really was the man. I think we are over paying for a player who has had one season as a world class player.
