I had my doubts about that kit but it looks fantastic. Now to go and buy my Sneijder 7 kit

A mate of mine who is a hardcore Interista says a 'reliable source' on an Inter blog claims there is something in this Sneijder rumour.

Everyone knows there is something but we all want to know what that something is.

My impression is those that are saying that a deal is imminent, are convinced that Sneijder will eventually join us but also know that it may take more time.

However they are saying that the deal is imminent for attention seeking purposes.

I would rather we signed Pastore

I'm much more happy with Sneijder. Pastore is really talented but I'd rather we signed a Dutch player than an Argentinian one. Plus, I'd say Sneijder is just the better player (just my opinion).

We have a good record with Dutch players as well... van der Sar, Nistelrooy and Stam all excelled. Cruyff was a different story, injuries pretty much screwed him over but overall we've had three diamonds.

Argentinians?

Tevez was great on the field but he's a mercenary and can't decide what he wants. Left in a $hitty fashion to well...

Heinze... also left in a shitty fashion.

Veron, never really got a hang of the English game. Good player though, just left because Fergie got a decent offer for him.

Sneijder is class, we'd be lucky to have him. A huge fee is always a risk but if we want someone of real quality it's worth it. Hopefully he'll follow in the footsteps of van der Sar, Nistelrooy and Stam and become even better.

Mostly racist...

How the hell is that racist? We do have a better experience with Dutch players. I have nothing against Argentinian players, I was the biggest fan of Tevez when he played for United, thought Heinze was a warrior and I've never been as excites as when Veron signed. Culture just plays a big part in everything, Dutch culture is much more like the English one than the Argentinian culture. Weather conditions also play their part, Dutch players are far more used to shitty weather than South American players. Calling someone a racist for favoring Dutch players over Argentinian players when we're talking about playing in the English Premier League is stupid. If it were in Spain then the tables might turn (not in the case of Sneijder vs. Pastore as I think Sneijder is simply better but other players).

Imagine the reaction if he flopped against Barca hehe.

Now don't get me wrong I would fecking love to beat Barcelona, but you'd have to laugh through the tears if we didn't. £35m+ spent on a player who is expected to give us some craft and control in midfield and it doesn't make a blind bit of difference against that team :(

You don't know what that word means do you?

So tarring all players from a particular country with the same brush rather than taking each one as they come isn't racist?

Lighten up, it was a joke ffs...

No... it isn't...

Olly's photoshopping skills never cease to amaze...

I'd just like to say I was retweeted by Howard Nurse earlier.

Meaning I'm now officially famous, connected to BBC sport Manchester and means you all have to believe everything I say regarding transfers from now on.

You mean Xenophobic.

Not at all.

First of all, you go for the better player... Sneijder.

If you have two very good players you have to weigh the pros and cons... you go by history, by what has worked, what hasn't and you make an informed decision.

Annoyed me a bit but that's alright.

No, it's not racist. Xenophobic, maybe. But not racist.

Dion had it right when asking if you know what that means.

And yeah, I know it was a joke.

Is it true about Kenny Miller?

Clearly this is why we haven't signed Messi.
