On Our private leer-jet,
Have-we signed-ya, Wes-ley Sneijder
Just keep training
don't start complaining
About annual precipitation
in the Mancunian part of the nation
Have-we signed-ya, Wes-ley Sneijder
You've got a fit wife
But you've got shit hair;
sit next to Rooney,
and discuss Scalp-care
Or sit by the twins
they're a tight pair
Have-we signed-ya, Wes-ley Sneijder
We know you love Sausage and Spaanders
though we're not quite sure
what Sausage and Spaanders is,
so we've installed a Dutch Chef
at our base camp, Carrington,
don't sign for Other,
we've spent £20k on a special Dutch-Oven;
if that's the right phrase,
just sign your name...
Have-we signed-ya, Wes-ley Sneijder
ja,ja.

You muppets should be glad this is taking a while. Definitely will be the last signing of the season. Once he's here, then what'll you all do?

Yeah, heard on the radio that United have sent a delegation to Inter to get the deal done today. This one is actually starting to look like it's gonna happen.
Well that has me convinced. It's one thing to have a tabloid quote a twitter feed. But when a radio station quotes a tabloid that quoted a twitter feed, then surely it's solid as a rock!

Howard Nurse
Still unable to verify reports that #MUFC chief exec David Gill is in Milan for #Sneijder. He was in Zurich. Question is: where is he now?

Marcotti has been on ESPN press pass saying that this is a done deal, says he has been at the opening of AC Milans open training session this morning and all the italian journos were discussing it, he says inter want the money to invest in some youth, how reliable is Marcotti?

Very reliable usually.

When did you hear this?

PS: Inter have signed Alvarez and signed some Jonathan kid for 5m today.

around 7.30pm mentioned that sneider will be playing on the wing this season to accomodate Alvarez, he also said the sneider is not pushing for a move but would not turn down the chance to play for United if Inter want to sell him, he kept on saying its a done deal and only a matter of time, i logged on to this as soon as he said it.

Where exactly does Alvarez play? I've heard a lot of people say that HE plays off the wings and if that's the case why would Sneijder be on the wings to accomodate Alvarez?

If it's a done deal how/why will he be playing on the wing to accommodate Alvarez?

I'm just worried that the ensuing fa.pathon might knock the planet out of orbit, meaning that all this was for nothing (except the resultant armmageddon)

For us non-muppets, trying to get a feel for muppetry, who's Marcotti and what's his history like on this stuff?

That's in case he does stay. I think that's why they're selling him in the first place, since he'll be sacrificed and won't get to play in his best position.

Either way, it's a done deal

Italian born, has degrees from several Ivy League schools, works mainly in England. Writes or has written for Sports Illustrated (US), The Times (UK) and Corrierre dello Sport (Italy) among others.

Usually a pretty solid source - doesn't seem to dabble much in rumors.

This is from a rumours site but it makes sense, I think:

Certain individuals within Inter were frustrated with Sneijder's injury problems last year and questioned his value as he is one of their highest earners. After the succesful treble season Inter feel they have had their worth from Sneijder and want to refresh the team. Inter's statement that no official bid has been made is correct because MUFC have only made verbal offers to test Inter's value rating of Sneijder.

Writes regularly for The Times, Sports Illustrated, Wall Street Journal, Sunday Herald, La Stampa, and Corriere dello Sport.

*Slurp* I feed on these rumours. Give me something new, twitter, word on the street, shit websites- I don't care what it is, I only need rumours.

A mate of mine who is a hardcore Interista says a 'reliable source' on an Inter blog claims there is something in this Sneijder rumour.
