We are an awfully coached team

Yea, definitely will have to make a thread when the inevitable happens. All you have to do is look at post history and see who was right back then. I feel vindicated and all the abuse I got was uncalled for then.

You left redcafe for 4 months when Poch was beaten by City.
Glass houses...

Don’t worry, we’ll win this and have to deal with more of this, cannot wait

We have one of the best squads in the world with the worst coaching staff in the world

This was classic stuff; throw all weapons in and play run and gun. Jose did it against Newcastle and few days later we looked shit again.

He messed up with match preparation and we won despite him.

I see many dissapointed fans here just because we won.

Sometimes, try to support the team, staff, players. Specially when it is needed the most. It feels better.

We're on an internet forum, not in the stadium boo'ing the players or spouting abuse to Ole etc.

What we say has little to no significance.

If we can’t coach them to be a good pass and move side they can at least get them showing that 2nd half intensity level every game….or so you’d think. We need to be able to do one at least consistently otherwise we’ll get nowhere.

I support Man Utd. Players and managers are here to do what is best for Man Utd. Ole is not the best for Man Utd. He is holding this great team back

Everyone(?) is supporting the team. And players and staff are part of it. To give criticism is one thing, to throw insults is another.

So Moyes, VanGaal, Mourinho all held this team back. Sometimes, supporters need to look in the mirror and ask if they are holding this team back with all negativity.

 All supporters are more or less the same at the end of the day. It's very clear that we are woefully undercoached

Feel like it was less of a tactical triumph than a triumph of the team spirit. I'm terms of the shape it was pandemonium at times, and I agree with the BT pundits that we can't play like that against Liverpool.

Still, big result and another comeback which showed the quality of the players we have at certain moments of the game. Good fighting spirit, if you don't have that then you're going nowhere. Just bemusing how they looked like they couldn't give a toss against Leicester to the opposite tonight.

This squad could be so awesome with the right coaching :(
This is the most annoying part. It's genuinely a world class group. But it's going to be wasted because the higher ups seemingly don't think it's that important to have an actual coach who knows what he is doing.

An excellent take... So we give away easy goals because of the negativity within the fanbase? :)

Come on mate, enjoy the victory, be happy when the chance is there. No need to come in here just to act smug again. For all the great features of the 2nd half, the 1st half wasn't such a relevation.

So what is criticsm and what is negativity in your opinion? Saying that someone is not good enough is negativity? Don't be a snowflake. If no9 or rw or manager are not good enough, it is fair to say that.

That's it proof he's deluded
Ole i thought we played well in the first half.
The amount of openings they created through us in that first half.

When Ole eventually moves on and when or if some other club employs him, can all the Ole lovers really see him being a decent manager and a sucess in football elswhere in the future.
I honestly don’t think any premier league club would even be interested to be honest.

Today was like the Jose match against Newcastle where Martial and Pogba saved him. A victory of the spirit of the players, not for the failing manager and what they’re trying to do.

I am enjoying every game. Some less, some more. I'm not here to act anything but it doesn't look good when we need to win games, we have fans in this place just throwing everything against Solskjaer and staff. Even wanting us to lose.

I think you know pretty well what difference is between throwing insults and discussing tactics.

Show me one my insult to Ole. One. Only one. I have 1000 posts about Ole. Surely you will find one. Go...

Mostly think we should be enjoying the match tonight but if we're being critical.....

We take way too many shots from bad positions. I think Rashford alone took four 0.05xG shots within the first hour of the game. Whether it's a symptom of a problem (not creating enough so players have to resort to bad shots) or a problem in itself (players aren't being coached to not take shots in those positions) it's a consistent and very bad feature of our play.

Why do you think this is about you?

Just look at game threads and posts. We even have a thread actually people wanting us to lose.

If you're critical after a loss it's "here they come after a bad result".
If you're critical after a win it's "don't be so miserable, enjoy the win ffs"

The comeback doesn't change the fact that we were terrible in the first half, although I will say that even during the first half, as miserable as we looked at times, we did create some very, very good chances, albeit with a bit of help by their Leeds-esque defending, which is more than we've done for many of our poor performances this season.

Maybe you don't to act anything but it surely looks like you do. You coming in here to "note the bad amount of negativity" won't change anything. It isn't the supposedly hate for Ole that brings people in here, it is the showings of the team. A good result doesn't start an endless summer, just like a negative result starts the winter. It is madness. But this cycle of shit won't start as long as both sides take the ride as soon as the possibility is there to "rub it into their faces".

Good advice: if this threads makes you feel uncomfortable, leave it as it is. Don't come in here, I agree, it can be a concentrated dose of negativity. But it is for a reason, other threads for example about the man managing are mostly positive - both only highlight one aspect. So just accept that some stuff is bad and if it bothers you, don't go into certain threads.

This is very true.

Look at all the knee jerk #OleIn fans. How the turn tables.

With how uncommon wins seemingly are for us this season, they are the ones looking like the knee jerkers :D

Jokes aside, this result doesn't really change anything., It didn't teach us anything new. We look quite good when there is space for us to operate in - where we struggle is against teams that are well drilled defensively.

I've said the very same in this thread myself.

At the same time, if we don't enjoy comeback wins like this when they happen then it'll be a very long season, because (if we're all right about Solskjaer) we're unlikely to have that many other highs over the next few months. And in this case even if people want Solskjaer gone, they should still desperately want us to be in the CL in early 2022, even if they want a new manager in charge by then. So the result is a big deal.

Nothing wrong with pointing out flaws after a win but my general advice would be to get as much joy out of nights like this when they come around if you think they'll be few and far between. Plenty of time to dissect performances later.
