Maybe wouldn't be my 8th pick as well, but still a very good pick.
If Argentina would have won that world cup, maybe the rhetoric would have been different.

But he will escalate a hell lot of notches above if he manages to get you know who. Would definitely be a R1 quality pick then.

Its easy to forget the shit midfield, the bang average defense and the unbalanced attack he had alongside.

If he had to win, it would have been on his own. Of course, his miss at 0-0 in the final is where he loses huge points.

Baggio is a fecking great pick and I’m surprised he lasted that long. I was originally going to take him once Maradona went and had convinced myself that no one would take fenomeno before it got back to me and I could Pair them together

Then I realized how stupid that plan was and took the easy way out by selecting Pelé.

Thuram in there aswell is a damn fine start to this draft when we consider we are judging players based on the selected WC performances and you have a plethora of video evidence due them being more modern day. Well played sir.
