Jesus fecking christ! he scored assisted and created in this game yet you blame him for this result? Its Moyes that has turned us into a fecking boring team that's playing awful football.
I didn't blame him for the result, he was our best player when most were woeful. Still, his wrong decision cost us 2 points though. Our awful football wasn't that much better with Fergie at times either.

Scored a goal, created a goal, laid on a great chance for Welbeck, drove the team forward and only one who looks like he gives a flying feck. Yes lets all abuse him

I think he can justifiably be criticised for two very big, very mental moments today... Regardless of how well he played

Best player on the pitch for us today, scored, assisted and should have had another assist. fecked up at the end though. Can't blame him at all though, we'd have lost it easily had he been sent off.

Really poor decision at the end and lucky to be on the pitch. Other than those 2 incidents, he was very good.

I'll ignore his stupidity with that tackle. We'd be in much worse shape without him.

His performance stood out compared to our other players. I just wish he would trust his own finishing when he get's chances like that. Passing to Welbeck proved to be the wrong option this time. He could and should be dispatching chances like that himself.

Rvp would have burried that. It actually reminded me of his goal against West Ham last year from a Giggs assist.

Terrible decision.

He fecked up that chance, but he's also levels ahead of anybody else on our team today. I wanted him to leave, but we would have been fecked without him.

I don't think it was that bad decision from him to pass it, but the execution was awfull, that's an easy pass but he fecked it up. Had a good game though.
Btw I can see him getting ban after that incident in the first half, and then we're really screwed.

The good stuff cancels out the bad for me. He's playing the part of 2 players with the amount of dross either side of him.

He's the least of our problems

Nah he should never be passing that in a million years. fecking shoot... The keeper was basically stood up right and showed him the entire goal!

Some of you are absolute gimps for saying he cost us the game. He scores the first goal, sets up the second and lays a sideways pass thinking Welbeck would get it, but he's a buffoon? Pathetic, yes he cost us the game dearly that twat.

You're a wanker.

Sick of being personally insulted because of my defence of Manchester United's best player who singlehandedly earned the club a result today, as he has done so many times over this season and in seasons before.

Really disheartening that these sort of comments are tolerated on this forum.

You're quite clearly a WUM. And a wanker.

Feel free to report my post.

I start to fell symphathy for him wanting out. With that amount of shit behind him that is supposed to provide him with balls it must be quite frustrating.

Anyway he had a good game. Our best player.

I don't think passing the ball there should have been his first option, he should have opted for shot, but you can see lot of players choosing the pass in those situations. Like I said, that was easy pass to make, but he fecked it up, 9 times out of 10 he would complete that pass, but unfortunately today was the one that didn't make it.

If you're paid 250k or whatever it is a week, you need to be scoring those goals that win matches. That was put on a plate for him and inexplicably he chose to pass.

I think Rooney performed terrific today and by no means is the blame solely on him, but he should have won us the match. Plain and simple.

I don't think I've ever had so many mixed emotions for him after a match.

He does that to me regularly. I want to hate him, and I feel successful at that, but then he scores and assists and decides matches. Then he goes and kicks a player and should be given a straight red, then he scores a goal and makes an assist, and then he misses a 150% chance at the end and gives away two points. Damn...

A goal and an assist. A splendid all around performance. Contributed more defensively than Cleverley and Fellaini, and was far more positive and influential than Chicharito and Januzaj.

Splendid all round? OK then... sloppy in possession is the best I would give him, but he scores and he assists. He's a difficult one, but splendid all round?

Yes, he was. Seemed to me like he was making up for the shitiness of Valencia, Cleverley and Fellaini combined and drove the team forwards on multiple occasions .

Yea he as well was defending with Rio and Evans at some point and then took a pair of gloves from de Gea and defended a corner or two.

You guys, seriously.
