I know a lot of people don't like Teitter and this might only enforce that view but for me this is a good example of how Twitter can be a great tool.

It gives celebrities a direct mouth piece to the world without having their words twisted by the media.

Why's he trying to justify his actions by using sky pundits opinions? Tyler is annoying as feck but why is he so riled up about it? He's Wayne Rooney, of course people are going to speak.

Give it a rest. He's not trying to justify his actions, read the first tweet he says it was a bad tackle. He's just highlighting the bias in the commentary

In fairness (and I'm not having a dig at you here) it's kind of a hypocrisy that annoys the likes of Rooney and he has a point. Sky are meant to be impartial on stuff like this and yet they're not. If Rooney, Suarez or Balotelli do something then they're the scum of the earth. Then you've got other players (Medel today, Miralles yesterday) doing things just as bad and it's "heat of the moment" or "part of the game" their double standards are ridiculous. It transfers to other sports to, the boxing last night was embarrassing to watch with their desperation for an underdog story. The worst is the coverage of the cricket as well which is ridiculous. Of course you expect some biased but Sky really has gone strange with it recently.

Tyler has been like it for a while and I'd imagine footballers just find it a bit dull when they're on the end of it. You could hear in his voice today when Rooney scored he was annoyed, he mentioned nearly every 5minutes he shouldn't be on the pitch. Both Cardiff goals he was enthusiastic. When Evra scored he went on some bizarre rant about Evra being small but scoring goals, kind of discarding anything Evra did for the goal.

Rooney will get more coverage but he's well within his rights to be annoyed by it. Sky have always had heroes and villains. Hart at the moment is a prime example. You can tell they're dying for Pantimillion to make a mistake and when he does they'll come down on him so hard begging for Hart to be back.

who the feck is sourness? can someone translate that tweet.

Nice from Wayne, Martin needs to hear the shit he says.

Well yeah, of course it's not going to please United fans when he bangs on about it every few mins but that's just the way it is when it comes to United and some other big teams, as much as we don't like it.

Why do people tweet things to millions of people without spelling them correctly? If I was famous I know I wouldn't do it.

In fairness, Rooney has spent his whole career getting away with things other players would get punished for - just like today - so he might not person to highlight this glaring double standard.

In fairness, he also gets punished for things no other player gets punished for...like when he got banned for 3 games due to an incorrect sending off in a pre-season tournament, a year after Gerrard received no punishment for being sent off for spitting on someone, in the same tournament. Or when it suddenly became a 3 game ban for swearing at a camera, after it had already happened. Or when he got a three game ban for raising his hand at someone, and Ben Haim escaped the same punishment for the same offence, in the same game, despite being charged after the ref said he'd have sent both of them off.

Plus Tyler's a Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime. I remember Vidic handballing a cross against Arsenal a couple of years back, and he was still going on about it every five minutes a month later when we played Chelsea. Eventually he went the full whack and actually claimed it was the reason we'd won the title...because Vidic got away with a handball in a game we went on to lose 1-0. He decided in his mind it should have been a red card and prevented him from playing against Chelsea...except, even if it was for some reason a red card, Vidic would have still plaed against Chelsea. He really is an incredibly thick human being...I mean for example, to the point that Wayne Rooney's twitter has had to point out how thick he is.

The tweets will come back to haunt him but he's bang on. The laughing off of Medel's antics today like they were watching You've Been Framed was appalling. Especially coming from a company so eager to play the "Won't somebody think of the children?!" role model card whenever any footballer does anything remotely negative on a football pitch (see Rooney swearing at West Ham)

Sourness, best spelling mistake ever. Well said though Wayne, Tyler was being a right cnut all game long, glad he actually called him out on it.

Also, he isn't half riled up today isn't he? First the random kick out, then all the emotion in the celebration, now this. Rooney's got some of his fire back

Oh dear, Rooney's PR agency are going to have to change his twitter password again!!

He's pretty much spot on with those tweets to be fair and it was the same here. As much as I hate Rooney for his antics, it was a bit of 'hurr durr he should be off' after that kick but when Medel slapped Fellaini some of those who wanted Rooney off didn't give a feck about it.

I hoped he was being ironic with the 'Sourness' thing. I expect Graeme to respond by calling him Pooney.

Now the international matches are over, The Sun will be going with: 'Kung-fu Roo! Bald Irish Bastard cheats plucky Cardiff out of Win'.

You would have thought he spelled it wrong, but writing it twice when he writes it correct in the first tweet yet goes again to write "sourness" a second time must surely show he's not completely braindead?

Yeah I didn't see the other tweet until after, pretty clever nickname really
