If it moves, report it.
One thing we learnt last night, Wayne is without a doubt the solution to our midfield problem, if he wants to be.

I think he's just so stupid that all he wants is to be cuddled and cheered in order to make him happy. He's basically a baby.

Perhaps if it was one time, but twice? Claiming we did not match his ambition the first time leaves no leeway for even the 'politest' manner of asking to leave a second time. Please elaborate on exactly how he is shitting over the club and the fans. By quietly, privately, expressing some dissatisfaction to his manager? By not kissing his badge or telling journalists he wishes to play for us forever?
He may well wish to leave, but if that, for you, is tantamount to shitting on the club and the fans, perhaps you have proved your own point about football fans.
Doesn't that, in itself, probably impact the outcome? He sees if he stays he'll play, the fans will get behind him and the world will not end. So he doesn't further attempt to force a move. So a move away becomes less likely.Maybe. I don't think last night will have any impact on whether he'll stay, though. But it will, I suspect, make him less apprehensive about what happens if he is forced to stay.
He hasn't shat on the club. There really is no other way of looking at it. Fans may feel scorned or frustrated at his stance, that is fair enough, or to be expected at least. But I'm glad the match goers on the whole are being so sensible about it.Perhaps if it was one time, but twice? I have held my opinion of the situation, regardless of his recent performance and the fact that time is running out which means it's looking likely he will stay... not lambasting him in july, then offering my arse the minute he plays a good football match and when his sale looks less likely.
Disgusting animal is our Wayne, and not just because he shagged a grandma... Heh heh heh...

A few people around me were singing his name, they were the also the same people calling him a scouse bastard at the Swansea game.So bullish when people were fed up with him for wanting to leave twice, now it's all about him performing well on the pitch whilst he can keep shitting on the club and fans.
Football supporters, not the most intelligent and steadfast type of people. Lolzies.
Did we? I clearly missed that being demonstrated.
I doubt anyone thought it was. But it was still a decent performance, maybe the best for our team, and it was a nice surprise as he's hardly played any football for a while and we know he's a slow starter who gets better once he's had a few games. He was always trying to get on the ball, gave it his all (it wasn't a half arsed performance like some had predicted) which was really as much as we could expect from him. Well a goal would've been nice, but overall it was a good performance by Rooney last night. The commitment and enthusiasm was nice to see but... that wasn't some world class performance or anything.
In fairness, myself and quite a few of us in here have been consistent about what we want, and that is that he doesn't get sold. I doubt everyone is just changing their mind on the basis of last night.Hopefully he still gets sold.
One good performance and everyone is carressing the tip of this cocknose again. It really is true, score a few goals and all is forgiven in football (or in this instance, just play a decent match without scoring).
Tracking back, winning the ball. Excellent passing. Thats what we need in the middle of the pitch.

Definitely. I'm sure he'd still rather go. But I'm encouraged that it looks like everyone can be professional and get along. I had my doubts, at which point it looked like maybe he should go. On last night's evidence I hope he's staying.Yeah, fair point, it probably will stop him doing something dramatic in an attempt to force a move but what I mean is that if we said to him that a bid had been accepted, I reckon he'd be on the road to London within minutes.

I thought Cleverley had his best game in a while, there's nothing spectacular about him but he was neat as usual and was more disciplined positionally than he often is. Rooney was very involved, committed and was threatening on occasions but only De Gea and Van Persie had lower pass completion rates (I generally hate stats and yet now I'm bloody using them) so I'm not sure you can say his passing was 'excellent.'
His pass completion rate isn't going to be as high as players who are facing play and attempting safe passes all the time rather than trying to be creative. Keeping possession is good and all but you need to do more to win games. Rooney was one of the few players on show trying to win the game in what was a defensive match.
He has chosen NOT TO put in a transfer request. The key words are 'chosen' and 'not'. It tells us enough imoWas just about to post the same thing, does not stop Chelsea putting a bid in.
Rooney needs to open his mouth and tell us what he really wants to do.
Until the transfer window shuts he's effectively a schrodinger's football player, he's both ours to support and a deserter cnut at the same time. I can't for the life of me figure why any fan of ours would cheer his name, I'll support him but I won't give him any adoration. From here on on its just a business transaction with him

feck, now we're back to square one.But how do we know the story is true, could just be more press bollocks.

You don't feel that not putting in a transfer request a few days away from the closing of the transfer window is putting it to bed?Rooney needs to come out and put it to bed.

The statement should come from Rooney and not someone like SSN. Is he really that busy he can't tweet something himself or release a statement on his website? You don't feel that not putting in a transfer request a few days away from the closing of the transfer window is putting it to bed?
