Thats a bad sign.
The million dollar question.
How much do we pay Wayne Rooney? No one seems to have the slightest clue
I agree with that, at this late stage of the transfer window we are unlikely to get someone of the same quality, so for me Mata should be part of any deal.
So he's injured but able to train seperately with the reserves and start for England in midweek?

How difficult would it be to just pawn him of to PSG? He might not want to go there, but if the powers makes it clear to him that it is PSG/abroad or staying put then surly we'd be able to send him packing there.
If he is not sold, there is no way he will give his best, he will just coast though the season doing just enough.
PSG just spunked 60 million euros on Cavani and already had Zlatan. They've got no interest in Blueney.
Real or Barca then. He's not going to London.
Get him to stop being such a tight git and hand in the transfer request and we might."report them to the PL"? Bloody grasses. Stop being such scaredy cats and sell him.
You are loving this arent you.
That's better than him trying his best for Chelsea though. It would be suicide to sell him to a direct rival.
Care to make a bet?
Do you think you're going to sign him?
It would be suicide to have a player in the team who is not trying ,it would be like playing with 10 men.

Yep. Not 100% but If I had to pick I'd say he will be a Chelsea player by the end of the window. £40 million.
Rooney will knuckle down - there's no sense in him not trying in a World Cup year. If Rooney downs tools and ends up on United's fringes and Welbeck & Sturridge have really good seasons, he could be in trouble come next summer.
It's the lesser of two evils though. If we can't sell him to a foreign club we should just pay whatever he wants.
You're just a shit Peter Storey...

You speak with a confidence that suggests it's just a case of stumping up the cash and we'll sell.
I honestly can't see us selling to you - I believe the club understands the ramifications.
I think he'd knuckle down too if the move doesn't come off especially if Chelsea sign someone else. I'm not sure if his WC spot would actually be in jeopardy, but from a personal view point I think he would want to do well in this given he's really under performed since 04.
Nah, I like Pete.
If England make it to Brazil he will be the no1 striker regardless of form and fitness. I am not singling out Rooney but that's how it is when it comes to England.
I bloody well hope they do and it's not just about money.
