No, i highly doubt it's just been LEFT to him. Your original comment basically made out like Fergie had created a mess then just left it to Moyes to deal with. I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie and Moyes decided this plan of attack together, and i certainly don't believe that Moyes has just been left to it by himself.

All your talk in regards to Sir Alex is 100% speculation, you have no idea what he is actually doing. All we actually know is that this Rooney problem started with Sir Alex and is having to be cleared up by Moyes. That could have been avoided, it would have been better if Fergie said nothing and let Moyes handle it as he saw fit. He may have wanted to keep Wayne, but he has had to come out aggressively from the get go and left little chance of that happening. That is on Fergie.

It'd be cleaner all round if Rooney left. Moyes can proceed without any baggage and do his own thing...as long as he doesn't go for Fellaini!

I agree, I think he will now too much hearsay. Neither party is happy, the trust is gone it's best to severe ties. He has been a great player for this club but we know how it goes.

I want Moyes out of my football club now. His management has seen the club deteriorate in stature and reputation with each passing day.

Interesting..

Breaking on SSN. Woodward has left tour in Australia to carry out 'important transfer business.'

This is weird. Why is he needed in Oz? Can't be anything pressing. Now, obviously during these times we will have transfer business to take care of, desirable ins, not so desirable ins and outs. Why not stay in UK/Europe for those things?

That's speculation too. You don't know that what is happening now isn't exactly what we WANTED to happen.

To think that Fergie hasn't informed and advised Moyes on this situation behind the scenes is speculation, but it's more than believable. I don't think Sir Alex would have just gone 'there you go Moyesey, sort that out, i'm off on holiday, bye'.

If Rooney is sold this week and we have not got players that us fans want, things will get a little desperate here.
Does anyone want to fancy a guess about what all transfers ins and outs will take place before the end of the transfer window?

I'd assume most people were joking with something like this, but with you I just assume you're being an idiot?

:wenger:

Now your just arguing for arguments sake. Does this strike you as a situation which has been handled smoothly, all this back and forth in the press?

That's not my point read what I am saying. From the moment Fergie announced Rooney wanted to leave followed by 'i'm not the manager' it was not his problem anymore. It was a problem Moyes was going to have to deal with as soon as he got in. Not an ideal way to start the biggest job in the game or do you believe this is how the club wanted it?? That is all I am saying. If Fergie had kept quiet Moyes could have handled it how he saw fit, what Fergie did left him little leeway.

Still gonna take 15+ hours to get back to England from Down Under. So yeah, have a good night caftards.

a flight in the night from sydney(local time), would mean an arrival on next day pre-noon in london(local time).
the time difference helps here. So there can be some work done by woodward tomorrow itself

Now now John, we've been here before. Don't become the first person ever to be banned for holding too retarded an opinion.

I'd bite their hand off for Mata, but as that's seemingly not an option and their bid was only £2,000,000 more than we paid for Ashley Young with a year left on his contract... I'd rather keep the fat fecker sat on the bench for a year (World Cup year no less).

Sure, if you dismiss the previous problems between Moyes and Rooney and Rooney's previous displeasure with the club and his antics.

This entire episode seems obviously set in motion with the desired result of Rooney not being at the club under Moyes. It's not like Fergie and Moyes are idiots. They are experienced with the press and players. They know what they are doing. In this case, Fergie was giving cover for Moyes. Now Moyers won't be the one who drove Rooney from the club.

We should be strengthening the squad this summer not weakening it.

Losing Rooney will be a massive blow. I just hope we know what we are doing.

True that may have been his angle. In that case what Fergie did made perfect sense. But we still have fans like John blaming Moyes anyway. I'm not fussed in all honesty I just want the saga done with.

You're so crazy that calling you batshit crazy simply isn't good enough.
Go sit in the corner and think of what you've done.

IIRC Gill used to go on most tours too. And tbh, these tours are predominantly commercial exercises so he's probably one of the most important chaps on our touring party anyway.

Any figure under £40 million and we are being fecking robbed.
