Would you still forgive Wayne if he decides to stay, not sure I can take it anymore (considering it's twice in three years) - dissrespectful

No. He's fecked it up now for good. He complains about no top players so wants to leave, now gets them he's unhappy. fecking bellend he is, who does he think he is? Why should the club be built around him?

If he wants to give a shit for next season then we keep him but another season like this one from him and his value plummets to peanuts, especially as he'll only have a year left on his contract. I'm not sure if the motivation is there for him here any more, which is sad as we've seen today we're one of the greatest clubs in the world. As Neville said there's no up from here.

I'l think he'll go. But to where would he most likely to end up. I could only see him going to another domestic club.

If he leaves then he's fecking stupid. He's at the pinnacle of world football here, and he had everything in front of him to be classed as a proper legend here, and it looks like he's going to piss all that away.

Players who have left always say that when you leave United the only way is down.

Wind your neck in, Wayne.

I'd say if he stays then we're fecking stupid.

People almost seem surprised, as if the idea that Rooney's a greedy bellend is a new one. Fact is that despite his commitment when he's on the pitch, he's been this way for a fair amount of time, as has been shown by his antics in his personal life and the last time he pulled this one. We were willing to forgive him last time because he was still an important player, but Rooney's been this type of person for a fair period of time now.

Might just be wanting a new challenge and new environment. It happens with some players. Unlike Scholes, Giggs and Neville he doesn't bleed red either.

He's a funny guy this Wayne.

First he moans about out team not being good enough, we sign RvP and then he's the second choice and first to be taken off from the strikers, then he wants to leave. Not the brightest.

I never bought the 'lack of ambitions' reasons the last time around. It was about money.

We'll be absolutely fine without him. He wants to leave so let him. He's already done his best to sever any emotional and sentimental attatchment and after last time he knew exactly what he was doing asking to leave. Maybe last time he was misguided, now thats the cowards excuse. He knows what hes doing and should be made to follow through with it

I'd rather he left if he is going to be a petulant little shit for being substituted when off form. He'll have to leave the country though, that's for sure.

He'll think about it, see what he has here, and will stay. He's got to show that he really wants to stay and put his best in for us if he does.

The fact "he wasn't keen to play" really fecked me off. Did he seriously ask not to play?

Probably true, else he would have been on the bench. We can't keep a player who is unhappy and keeps handing in transfer requests. SAF will never forgive a player who has held the club to ransom. Plus his bad blood with Moyes, SAF has taken steps to get rid of a potential problem for his successor. Let's put the money gained from his transfer to PSG or whoever to good use. Sad to see a player of Rooney's ability go but no player is bigger than the club.

I wouldn't want to guess WHAT he bleeds given his sexual history

Prefer it if he goes to a club like PSG, would hate to see him at a domestic rival... wouldn't mind him at Arsenal mind you.

No matter what the reason is, 'not wanting to play' in a game like today is just fecking disgusting. Totally disgraceful and to me, it's like a big feck-off to what SAF has done for him and his career. Moyes might want to keep him, and he might stay eventually, but after today, I have no feelings about him anymore.

I would rather get shot of him at this stage. Not worth the drama. The are better players than him at what he does - we have 2 of them at this club (Kagawa and RvP). Rooney is no longer the world beater he used to be, for me - he is a very good player, but the likes of Silva, Mata and Cazorla are just as good if not better, in the deeper lying role.

Get in any player with some real hunger and passion (two traits you would immediately associate with the Rooney of 5 years ago) and we wont notice that hes gone.

Who knows, he could go on and win the Champions League at PSG or wherever he goes. Would be sad to see him go in many ways, but if he isn't committed to be a team player then he has to go.

Do wonder what part the Moyles decision played in his request and also how much we would get for him if we do sell.

I suspect the main problem is that Wayne wants to go to a PL rival and, naturally, the club is having none of it.

If he is stupid enough to go to another English club, then I just will be shocked. I just wouldnt know what to make of him anymore.

I don't think this one's (solely) about money or a new deal. That said, the bottom line is that if he was physically and mentally right he'd be the first name on the team sheet every single week, so it's down to him from here. He can either cut and run or face up and make himself our best player again.

It was 2 weeks before Sir Alex told the players he was leaving. Has nothing to do with Moyes

I'm the same with that one. I imagine he thought there was a small question of ambition in his mind, so he used that excuse instead. Money was his main motive and it probably is this time too. Why any footballer on his money needs more I don't know though.

It's new contract discussions.

That's about the long and short of it.

I don't like it, I didn't like what he did last time and I don't like it now. FFS hes such a baby like he has some god given right to play all the time even when hes piss poor. Hes a professional at the end of the day and should act like it.

Why the feck would he do that?

I could understand if he wanted to go to Paris or Madrid... but why to another English club? Does he think it will be easier to oust Agüero from the starting line-up?

The manager has said he needs to mull over his future and it WILL be at this club.

Also said that he has been substituted a few times and that might have led to the transfer request. Then went on to say that he WOULDNT be substituted if his form was better.

Basically, Wayne is staying. End of story.

Really? You still believe everything Ferguson says, despite all the times he's said we weren't going to sell a player we were clearly going to sell? Or when he told us that there was no problem with Rooney? Or when he told us he wasn't gonna retire last week?

As for the point about him not being substituted if he was in form, that was just SAF pointing out that Rooney has no right to complain about his reduced status when his form is as poor as it has been.

Doesn't matter what he wins, PSG aren't Manchester United.

We shouldn't even be talking about this wee scrote today anyway, we're losing two actual legends today. People who genuinely give a feck about this club, and don't really want to leave.
