Search "Rooney" on Twitter and the amount of United fans delighted with Jones apparently giving Rooney stitches is properly depressing.

Scouse at heart lad who wants out?

Manc's in hating the cheeky sod shocker. Will be fecking despised if he leaves.

What's happened?

Jones gave Rooney a bunch of fives and there's claret all over Carrington?

The Sun have a picture where it is difficult to tell if Fergie is holding Jones back or lifting his arm as a sign of victory. They don't really.

I've already said countless times that he's had a more than decent season with maybe 3-5 terrible performances. His stats and reading that list and recollecting his performances in games this season further backs up what I think about his season. He's had a good season where he's managed to score 16 goals and tons of assists despite picking up a lot of injuries and despite being shifted around positionally due to RvP coming in. Not his best season but hardly a "poor" one.

How many injuries actually? I think it was more so he was just out for a spell more than numerous injuries. Being shifted around positionally has to do with SAF and most of the games Rooney played as a 10.

You can look at stats mate. Doesnt change the fact some people feel he's had a poor season by his standards. His performances have been pretty bad for me. He's done well to get the stats but doesn't seem to have as much intensity during the latter half of the first part of the season.

He's still a United player. The hate is quite astonishing

How many of them are supporters of other clubs on a wum though? For me, there's too much 'hate' and bs going on regarding wayne over rumour and hearsay - neither of which amount to much

Calm down wr8. It's really not such a big deal. I'm not sure this season is the only basis for talks of him being sold.

wr8_Utd's response to this rumour is making the situation much funnier than it really is.

What happened then? I want to see these pictures.

Another bullshit angle, exposing previous angles as bullshit but probably itself also bullshit.

Welcome to the British sports media.

I don't think Rooney's going anywhere. If Moyes is sensible, he won't want to start his tenure having to replace the man who has been the hub of this side for years, and its spirit almost since he got here. He'll placate him, settle him back down, and keep him here for a year while he works out whether or not he actually needs him.

He'd be a good judge :D

Sir Alex’s penultimate weekend in management marred by training ground brawl.

By Sebastian Soup-Dragon – Sunday 12 May 2013
The Observer

The incident witnessed by the entire first team squad, involved out of favour striker Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones. Precise circumstances are not known at this time however sources close to both players have confirmed to us that the tension had been building all morning as the side prepared for Sunday’s match with Swansea City.

It is alleged that two players were necessary to restrain Rooney who continued in a vicious tirade toward his team mate before spitting in the direction of an approaching Ferguson.

A unnamed player texted a friend: “I’ve received the hairdryer before but he’s never looked at me like that."

:(

Don't believe it. It's not the first time that Sebastian Soup-Dragon has dropped a clanger.

I usually detest The Mirror but that article reads to me like a direct interview with Rooney to put aside his point of view... But it obviously couldn't be a direct interview as it would weaken Rooney's position.

It's all bollocks. Is anyone really surprised at the timing of all this? Let's just ignore the rubbish on twitter and in the media and enjoy the game tomorrow. I can't believe people get suckered in so much over rumours that a five year old could have made up ..

The rumours sound normal. Anyone marking Phil Jones in training is probably always on the receiving end of multiple punches in the face, as well as their neck trodden on.

What sort of fecking shit dragon is a "soup-dragon" anyway? I won't trust a word of what he/it writes.

Lets be honest here, anyone who has the stones to dare oppose Phil Jones is lucky that he is the only man in the world capable of holding his immense power in check, and not rip them in two like a piece of paper.
