@nelsonio90: Rooney left out of the match squad for tomorrow. Reports of a big bust up with phil jones. Stitches needed. #mufc
Rumors on Twitter that Jones injured Rooney in training and he's out of tomorrow's match. Hope it's just that, rumors.
Search "Rooney" on Twitter and the amount of United fans delighted with Jones apparently giving Rooney stitches is properly depressing.
Don't take it too personally, then...
I like Phil Jones.
He's still a United player. The hate is quite astonishing
Relax man. A lot of these footballers are spoilt brats and not worth losing your sleep over.
Tomorrow is about SAF. Nothing else matters.
And Scholesy, obviously.
I've already said countless times that he's had a more than decent season with maybe 3-5 terrible performances. His stats and reading that list and recollecting his performances in games this season further backs up what I think about his season. He's had a good season where he's managed to score 16 goals and tons of assists despite picking up a lot of injuries and despite being shifted around positionally due to RvP coming in. Not his best season but hardly a "poor" one.

Sir Alex’s penultimate weekend in management marred by training ground brawl.

The incident witnessed by the entire first team squad, involved out of favour striker Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones. Precise circumstances are not known at this time however sources close to both players have confirmed to us that the tension had been building all morning as the side prepared for Sunday’s match with Swansea City.
It is alleged that two players were necessary to restrain Rooney who continued in a vicious tirade toward his team mate before spitting in the direction of an approaching Ferguson.
A unnamed player texted a friend: “I’ve received the hairdryer before but he’s never looked at me like that."
Another bullshit angle, exposing previous angles as bullshit but probably itself also bullshit.
Welcome to the British sports media.
I don't think Rooney's going anywhere. If Moyes is sensible, he won't want to start his tenure having to replace the man who has been the hub of this side for years, and its spirit almost since he got here. He'll placate him, settle him back down, and keep him here for a year while he works out whether or not he actually needs him.
The rumours sound normal. Anyone marking Phil Jones in training is probably always on the receiving end of multiple punches in the face, as well as their neck trodden on.
