Marking Williams 1v1 isn't what cost England last night though. You're wanting to bring him in to fix a problem that wasn't there.Doesn't matter, he would be 1 v 1 marking williams.

Williams was Spains best player yesterday.
Just because he scored a goal against Walker doesn't mean Wan Bissaka wouldn't have him in his pocket for the full 90 mins as he has constantly done with players twice as good as Williams.

Mbappe, Vini, Son, Salah, Neymar, Mane - would you like some more?Who are these players you speak of?

Bringing in Wan Bissaka to fix positional errors in defending like we saw with Walker for the goal isn't the solution. Infact it actually compounds the issue as his defensive positioning is far worse than Walkers.

Salah had scored 2 goals in 2 games against Wan-Bissaka at left back. Son had scored 5 goals in 10 games against him. Vini never played against Wan-Bissaka in a competitive game.Doesn't matter, he would be 1 v 1 marking williams.
His weakness is playing players onside - he hardly gets caught off at the back post anymore and at max only costing us 2-3 goals a season at an absolute max.
Anyway, ive seen Wan Bissaka agaibst Salah, Vini, Mbappe, Son and countless world class LW- no one seemed to have got through and utelised his bad positioning to score goals then
Shame. World class players do struggle..
SameDon't rate AWB at all. I thought he was particularly terrible last season, albeit good in the cup final as was everyone.
I'd be happy to get £15m for him

He did fair pretty well against Mbappé, I'll give you that, but saying that "no one seemed to have got through and utelised his bad positioning to score goals then" is a bit of a stretch.
Mind you, low tier source.
Interesting -- two very different profiles of fullback, so here's hoping he is definitely a strong option and not just West Ham posturing. From what iveheard AWB is being used as a counterweight to get Southampton to budge from kyle Walker Peters as his fee is felt to be too high by Southampton. Especially as they've already signed KWP replacement at RB.
Not to say we aren't interested should Southampton remain stubborn...
I've only spoke about the players you've mentioned. He didn't play against Salah as a right-back (otherwise you'd have a much more damning stats as Salah scored way over a goal per game against us with Wan-Bissaka present). At left back, which is the poorest I've seen him because that's not his position. Its like rating Hojlund whilst him playing as a CM.
He is a right back.
What about Mane?
What about Doku?
What about Neymar?
Saint Maxmin?
Also did Son Score all his 5 goals after getting the best out of Wan Bissaka or did he score from upfront?
I just watched two of his goals vs United and he got the best out of Eric Bailly not Wan Bissaka
FrimpongSo, who plays if Dalot gets injured?

He's a decent option if your team sits back and doesn't have any space in behind and he's focused on 1 on 1 defending. But time and again — against great and average wingers alike — he was caught in no man's land due to his atrocious positioning. Not coincidentally it happened more often against less impressive opponents as United doesn't play as defensively against them, leaving said space that Wan-Bissaka has no idea how to defend.
