Since VA is on the east coast, I'd imagine it will be decided fairly early even if its close. If Obama wins it, Colorado will mean less because he will probably also win Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin which will give him the election.

OH will also take a while even if Obama is likely to win.

Networks (excluding Fox) have been too scared to call anything remotely considered a swing state since the Florida 2000 debacle.

Actually I recall Fox calling Ohio for Obama in 2008 relatively early.

The most relatively secured route for Obama to 270 is WI+NV+OH . If Obama wins those three , 2 of which are supposedly no longer toss-ups, we can all go to sleep.

Yes, the feds would probably be able to impose federal drug laws over the states that legalize it.
 
I wonder what the interview process is to score a news job at FOX.

Perhaps they all are truly biased to the right, or perhaps some/most just live within the company policy and then go home and rant and rave about their employer.

I have a friend who worked at Fox. She told me it was ultra-competitive and intense.
 
If O wins, I hope he comes out as an atheist the very next day. Fox and the right wing would implode.

Unfortunately much of America would. Well above 50% would be aghast. They would certainly try to impeach him. Certain states have laws that forbid atheists from running for political seats (bullshit laws that should be challenged but good luck with that).

I would laugh and dance in the streets of Warner Robins, GA.
 
Jaz's final prediction...

303 Obama, 235 Romney. Romney will win Florida and North Carolina (Florida +2, NC ***.5). Obama will win Ohio by 2.5, Colarado by 0.5, Virginia by 1, Iowa 1.5, NH 2.
