US Politics

Rubio and Corker have flipped. Looks like the bill will definitely pass.

Got what they wanted? Rubio sounded like he had a commendable reason, what was Corker holding out for?

@Blodssvik has been doxxed!

The lynch mob on social media will be going after Doug Jones now. He just said he doesn't think Trump should resign because of the sexual harassment allegations and its time to move on.

Corker has decided he's staying in politics and wants to run for President I think.

Must've realised he needs Republican insiders to help so he's flipped.

Corker's living in cuckoo land if he thinks he has a shot of becoming president.

It's amazing how pathetic they are.

Edit: I feel like ranting a bit.

The GOP at the centre saw the choice between a direct, boost to their rich/corporate base, at the expense of some dead poor people and the deficit. They have taken it.
The Virginia Dems saw the choice to reduce the number of dead poor people at the expense of the deficit. They avoided it.
The people who will get worse with no treatment - why would they vote for a party that vaguely signals they will do something but then happily withdraws? And the rich donors- why would they stop funding a party that gives them their hearts' desire?

Sen. Bob Corker says he had no role in tax-bill provision that could potentially benefit him financially

Paul Ryan is being challenged by someone who is a little conservative, socially.
