United under LvG: verdict so far!

Moyes was too clueless to get us playing good football and LvG is just too stubborn.

Honestly, if LvG is such a tactical genius why does he insist on this shit? The worse part is, LvG will identify the fact we didn't play well after the game, like he does every time.

Completely worth all that passing. Yep, just perfect. Zero movement and imagination. Side to side and then pass it to Rob Green

All he has to do is swap Rooney and Di Maria around but he's a stubborn and won't last long if he doesn't change his ways.
I don't think we will sack him this season but I can see us missing out on the top 4 this season.

Played worse this season then this so far but the Di Maria experiment is hideous. What a waste of a great player

How can such an expensively assembled squad play this badly.

I'd honestly let GIggs take over at this stage - can't be any worse then lvg.

Today is not the most boring game yet under him but it's probably the ugliest. I don't recall ever being this amazed by how poor we are technically.

You really have to wonder what the feck are those players doing during training because you can't see any single drill on the pitch and we're still sticking to 352 which is just amazing at this point.

He's clearly not living up to his tag. This football is awful and none of our signings look to be making any difference.

We are dominating possession, so this is a great match by a philosophical point of view.

Honestly, watching football is something I do to be entertained, but this shit is like trying to watch moss turn into a rose bush. We have no right being in top four.

I swear my feed has a referee whistle before he actually blows. At first I thought it was out of sync but crowd reaction etc all matches the picture.

For some reason didn't want him to be Uniteds manager in first place, voted no when there's was poll about his appointment.

The more I watch his dicking around with 3 CB's and playing players out of position the more I know that initial feeling about him was right.

He's been piss poor with most of decisions and as a result we have United side that looks even more average than under Moyes guidance, which really tells how far have we fallen.

We need a big personality in the dressing room to tell LvG we are shit with this formation. But we don't have one.

Could try to play our signings in their preferred position? ADM is awful as a striker, world class as a CM. Rooney is awfully average as a CM and a class act as a striker... You'd think LVG would know what to do there.

In 2015 he's only shown incompetence. I didn't feel this bad watching the team under Moyes. At least when he was in charge, he picked the best team available most of the times and proven formations for the team and it's players. LvG just blatantly picks the formation that doesn't work and then fills it with players regardless if they're played out of position or not. Di Maria has gone from one of the best players in the world to someone that looks like he's got a super agent that conned the club out of a fee.

No actually wait a minute, I've said that we can see no drills on the pitch, Jones taking fecking corners is a new one.

It's very much like England in the early-mid 2000's. Forget a cohesive formation, just stuff all your best players in and hope for the best.

That never worked either.

If he was sacked tomorrow morning, I would not care less.

I still don't understand this formation. LVG has to look at himself. I thought he was the perfect man for us but his stubborn ways are beginning to hold us back. Who benefits from the 3-5-2? We have too many good players to look this ordinary every week.

This is bad, very bad. Of course it could be much much worse, but when you have players of the calibre that we do out on the pitch, it beggars belief that the football could be this awful.

10 points ahead of Liverpool a few weeks ago. Now they fast approaching us due to his stubbornness.

What is he trying to achieve? We been playing the same for the last five games and he hasn't once tried to change it.

He has shown a startling lack of ability to reflect on results and make appropriate changes. He seems utterly, obtusely rigid in his decisions and shows no flexibility at all in what he's trying to do.

I think it's a matter of pride. As you say he's stubborn, I guess he's hoping 3-5-2 will start working out - maybe the players will grow into it, but it doesn't seem likely given that it's so much different to anything we've played in recent memory.

And here was us thinking that things couldn't get any worse from last season. Silly us..

Way too stubborn now. feck possession it's about actually scoring goals, he's had 6 months to try and get this formation to work and it hasn't yet. So drop it.

Its getting more and more obvious that his main objective is to promote his own name and not to win titles. If he truly cared about the club he would just admit he made a mistake with this formation and move on but instead he just keeps on playing it.

The man is proving clueless, and no better than Moyes at the minute.

He's making it very tough to have any belief in the team.

I've been behind LVG and still am but today has shocked me. How the feck can someone be so oblivious/stubborn to what's going on in front of him. Using a 60m player in a position that he's struggling in and one where he gets a few touches of the ball.

We're basically forcing Phil Jones to make something happen. Every fecking team is happy for Jones to have the ball.
